Lets imagine we got CL football for 4 consecutive seasons.

How would the footballing landscape of the EPL look?

Would Sky Sports coverage still be quite so Manchester, London, Liverpool based?

Would our non-UK fanbase increase alot?

What would happen to the stadium?

Who would be the victims in terms of clubs missing out on top 4?

Would Vardy still be playing??

We want what Spurs achieved basically, consistent champions league football, then commentators will be forced to accept times have changed. Won’t happen over a season though. Having a load more foreign fans would be strange to me but welcome - so far we’ve had fans temporarily following us because of a player or two. The biggest victim of this would be the top six team doing the worst and with the worst management: man utd.

1. No idea.

2. Probably considering 10 of the current Premier League are from those 3 cities.

3. Probably.

4. Probably have a tier put on the East Stand.

5. Hang on i'll grab my glass ball.

6. Not for us.

That won't do, there's nothing respectable or enviable about Spurs at all, didn't you catch the memo?

2024-25:

Liverpool still haven't won the league.

Man City still haven't won the Champions League.

Leicester have won both at least once.

Man Utd are back in the top 4 with Giggs as manager till the end of the season.

Chelsea have won the Europa League twice with 15 year olds as they've been given yet another transfer ban.

Mourinho attempts to rebuild his reputation after his disastrous time at Spurs, by qualifying for the Europa League with Bolton Wanderers.

Spurs are adjusting to life in the Championship but are very excited about possibly winning some actual trophies.

Unai Emery has finally rebuilt the mess he inherited at Arsenal, just in time to stave off relegation.

Ozil still isn't playing despite signing a new contract for 600K a week.

Seagrave Village becomes a ghost town after Frank is discovered to have poisoned the wrong water supply.

The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Training Centre reveals plans for it's new extended Player Village, complete with primary school, Toff Road and pub.

The junction on the A46 is closed off permanently.

The King Power Stadium is finally expanded.

The Kop and the Family Stand still haven't been swapped.

Real achievements are found in trophy cabinets.

1. Part of that would depend on what European football looks like -- If CL, EL, and EL2 qualifications continue as is, My guess is that there would be a lot more "churn" in the top spots - a Big 7, with a Almost Big 3 or 4, is a lot of "Big" teams knocking points off each other.

2. Sky Sports would still concentrate on on the current "Big teams" because of their national fan bases --  but Tottenham could lose out, since they don't have a real national fan base. But if -- assuming we kept certain player, etc -- Leicester was still featuring in the England team, then it would raise its profile even more than frequent CL appearances.

3. Yes, in Thailand and in the United States. Less so other places, although King Power might try to get a couple of Asian tours in that time period.

4. Stadium is being expanded in any event, but it might be closer to almost 50,000 than just over 40,000.

5. Probably Tottenham, because they are so stingy. My guess, as I said above, is that you would see a lot of up and down -- although it is possible ManU and Arsenal's problems are even worse than they appear.

6. It is theoretically possible the club would try to use him like Roma used Francesco Totti -- a Super Sub not always making the bench. (Assuming he isn't an Immortal from Highlander, of course) It depends on how his legs end up going -- if he is able to play at a prime rate for 15-20 minutes, or if he just slows down completely. But I wouldn't be surprised if he retired after a couple of years and went into commentary.

But as the Spartans said to the Macedonians: "If"

Tbh I think fan base wise nothing will have the effect the title did, some of those stayed others lost interest. Sky being sky they would think of some catchphrase like big 7/ big 8 to commercialise as always.

You're telling me you wouldn't take four years in the CL consecutively? Come off your high horse, you'd love it.

Of course I'd love it. Actually winning stuff is better though.

But think of all the money, the gifs and the internet kudos we'd get for being in the UCL each year, Voll. THINK OF THE CASH!

Going to assume this thread is just another attempt at bashing the media becuase they "don't care about us" or "cover the more popular teams more waa waa" like it's only just started and is a huge revelation to everyone. We are so sensitive lol

lol Certainly wasn`t my intention when creating the thread, but I can certainly see with hindsight why you think that, and why it was only ever going to go down that route lol
