A thoroughly professional performance in the face of some diabolical provocation through consistent fouling and playacting, combined with a more than a few dubious decisions. It would have been far too easy to have succumbed down to their level and turned the game into a bloodbath but we stuck to the game plan and showed them that it would not rattle us.  Typified when Ricardo was pushed over for about the tenth time, simply gave the ref a look and walked away shaking his head and got on with. He could so easily have lost it after being booked himself for "persistent fouling (or should that be falling over)" yet got no protection in return. Best defence in the league  whilst maintaining the best disciplinary record at the same time. Shows a togetherness and determination, which combined with no small amount of class players, that shows we are the real deal.

Just had to say how  fantastic you played at Villa park yesterday - Just wow - the speed of those attacks were devastating - and who the hell played number 4 for you ? - Don't think he missed anything all afternoon. Also liked the nonsense approach you took the the game - no diving - several times you returned the ball as a sporting gesture with no fuss. Excellent performance - head and shoulders above Liverpool - Hope you win the league. Well done.  

Number 4 is our much lauded Turkish replacement for Harry Maguire.
