The Shed closing down!

It’s a shame, played many Gig’s there down the years! Can anyone remember the bloke who used to be there all the time? Looked a bit like he was out of Whitesnake? Will Silver I think his name was?

I think the fact bands can now just play on social media to a reasonable quality and have a further reach probably explains why local live (grass roots) music is somewhat diminishing!

Anyone been to the Long Road Festival at Stanford Hall before.

Going to see Emmylou Harris at the Albert Hall on a Sunday in May and just realised she’s playing down the road (alright it’s the M1) on the August Bank Holiday.

Steve Earle who I like is headlining the Friday night as well.

Last night. It had been strongly hinted online that this was happening.

Right Ms Nilles, see this stool? It was once occupied by the greatest compositional drummer in rock history. It's all yours...no pressure then.

(She absolutely nailed it).

We put the show on last night at my sister's and I started freaking out when I saw Alex there playing the intro to "Finding My Way"! I had no clue about them appearing.

Seeing Neil on the video screen behind them made me a bit emotional.

She did a great job!

Geddy's pipes are shot, it but it's wonderful to see them relishing every second of the opportunity to play live again. Alex sounded like it was 1974 again.

The biggest challenge following Peart is feel. And based on the evidence she definitely has it. Be interesting to see her approach the more challenging material when I see them next year.

Yeah Geddy's vocals haven't been good for quite some time(some would say forever lol).

Happy to have seen them in the 80's.
