We were just listening to a remastered version of Let it be, when the delightful Mrs Oz said.. that sounds a lot like that other song you like.

Im racking my brain trying to figure it out, when she says... you know, that crappy rap guy....

Suddenly it pops into my head... "Never been to church" by the Streets.. is almost exactly the same... and we had NEVER noticed... in fact just last night we were listening to the Streets and saying what a lovely song "Church" was.

Well...There ya go

What realisation have you had?

You listening to the single Let It Be or the album?

I had the album on today, first time in a while, and it's just a brilliant.

'Naked' or the Phil Spector farce? If it's the latter, McCartney would certainly disagree.

Surely won't be long now until the Peter Jackson project materialises?

It was Spectors version. I wish they'd have gone through with the original idea that Lennon wanted and had Don't Let Me Down On It (I know it's on Naked).

The post-production modifications of 'The Long and Winding Road' angered McCartney to such an extent that when he made his case in court for breaking up the Beatles as a legal entity, he cited the treatment of “The Long and Winding Road” as one of six reasons for doing so - that Klein’s company, ABKCO, had caused “intolerable interference” by overdubbing the track without consulting him. I always thought 'Let it Be Naked' was a point to prove and put history to rights. Ultimately, the Get Back project was Paul's. George had long since ceased wanting to be a Beatle, John was obsessed with Yoko and fancied himself as an avant garde artist, whilst Ringo was preoccupied with reinventing himself as an actor and swanning around Monaco with the Peter Sellers set.
