 Pick a side, keep it low, if the keeper guess right and your aiming to hit the inside, side netting,  no problems.

The best penalty taker of modern times that I can think of was Shearer.  He used to smash them hard into either top corner.  If you are accurate enough to be able to do that nine times out of ten you take the goalkeeper out of the equation.

Low and hard executed well and its almost always a goal.

Anything else the keeper has more of a chance saving it. (Doesnt mean they will).

Anything can happen.

Crossed my mind today that we haven’t had a penalty in a while considering we were getting one every other week at the start of the season. Wonder what we’re going differently.

Nothing, I'm inclined to think that it was just pure chance that we were getting so many penalties and we wouldn't keep it up. I think it was also masking some of the problems we've had from open play.
