Just found out that winners of the FA Cup can have triangular corner flags, everyone else rectangular!

Who knew!?

Looking forward to seeing them next season!!!

We also can apply for extra flexible ones now. If any opposition players try and Vardy them they’ll whip back and smack the player in the face, or even better the nuts.

Club choice apparently. Liverpool for example chose not to use and there’s nothing that actually stipulates what shape corner flags should be.

It’s a sort of unwritten tradition, but one I hope we adopt.

Yeah I looked into this a few months ago as I though this was kind of a thing that I remembered.

But yes apparently it was something started back in the day as a tradition but not actually anything official.

I’m sure clubs have used triangles that haven’t won, and that changing them to triangles is an option some clubs don’t take...

But personally I love these quirky traditions - Hope that we continue it!

I immediately thought of this, the moment the whistle blew up for Full Time......

.....then 10 mins later, remembered we're going back to Wembley for Community Shield too.
