Wasn't it this season where he agreed with an original decision then also agreed with the VAR change?

I remember that.

Walton made his decision that was a different decision from his original decision which he changed after VAR reviewed the decision to question the real time decision.

About sums it up, I think.

Struggling again. Was unaware, as per, of what VAR was actually checking (in this case a possible touch by Jota) ....Dixon had to bail (bale?) him out

He is a parody of himself. I saw leaked documents hat basically state he is given a script and has to follow that no matter how mental it reads. Agree with ref agree with VAR repeat.

On Wednesday they were asking for his opinion whilst the VAR checking was in progress. I'm assuming he must've thought the official had made a clear and obvious error when not awarding a penalty for the Kane incident. VAR decided otherwise.

He thought Kane had dived at first I think then said it was 50/50?

Yes, he couldn't back a decision as the ref/VAR hadn't made a final call at that point. He's a waste of space.

As a comparison as I watch some of the German coverage, they have a referee who gives his opinion and he doesn't back refs up all the time. It's good to see/hear a bit of a debate rather than a nodder.
