Pains me to say it but Vardy is probably the weakest player :(

 

Depends on your play style but you could get Ronaldo, maybe IF Mane and say Son on the wing, or take advantage of the chem from Maldini and get say Barella in for Fernandes. Also kind of depends who is tradeable as there’s sometimes better value outside the Prem if you fancied a hybrid team.

Previous team was French/Ligue 1/PL hybrid utilising kante and pogba as the links between the 2, just didn't enjoy playing with them as much. Vards will be the next to go, bringing in mane up top and son as LF. I find half the fun in building new teams, I stop fut champs at rank 5 every week with the first totw pack anyway which I comfortably achieve with a poorer team than this, I'd rather enjoy playing with the team

Team building is definitely my favourite bit, which is a good job as I’m relatively average at the game (but slowly improving!). Had a bit of decent pack luck on a couple recently so currently playing this:

Ended up doing Icardi myself as there's always a good chance I'll return to ligue 1 / French, playing mid giggs (bleugh) at lf instead of mane leaves him on 7 chem

Out of interest is the player-appearance on pro clubs the same as it was last year (Fifa 21)? I used to enjoy making monsters but the new format of editing your appearance in 2021 robbed me of that

To be fair to Messi he won the Ballon d’Or, although Lewadoski probably deserved that. Plus Mbappe won the right to appear in the cover of Fifa!

Pretty sure it's the same. I'll double check next time I'm on though.

Is there a point in the promo when all TOTY cards are in packs? If so I’d wait for that. Imagine how you’d feel if you packed the gold version of a TOTY card knowing they would be released soon.

 

I have the tokens for 85, 83 and 81, so I’d want to know if all the TOTY cards are going to be released together in packs at some point too.

Yeah that would be pretty annoying I suppose will have to look see what the deal is with everyone being released. Should have kept the 85 x 3 upgrade pack I had the other day as well.

Next Friday is when all players go in to packs at the same time. Including a 12th man as well I think. I'm opening my player specific packs as they are released but saving all other packs for next Friday lol

Weekend league is such a waste of time this year. I've got 11 wins out of 20 10 weeks in a row (but apparently it's not scripted) and I'm still yet to get a single valuable/usable card in packs or player picks. Seriously thinking of giving up on it at this point. Falling way behind with my team cause I can't upgrade with such terrible rewards :dunno:

You and me both brother, red picks are atrocious. I haven't packed anything decent this year (nothing worth over 100k). I'm glad they reduced weekend league to 20 games though so it isn't completely time consuming.

I only really play the WL now for the packs… red picks as you say are a waste of time especially with the amount of promos and special cards they release (seemingly every week) totw cards have become even more irrelevant for anything other than fodder purposes! They have to include promo players in red picks next year/soon or people will slowly lose interest!

Should have taken my own advice!

 

Got the latest Amazon Twitch pack, opened the player pick and one of the options is Dias. :doh:

 

I haven’t picked and exited FIFA in the slight hope when the defenders get released that the gold version will change to the TOTY version… :fc:

 

Obviously clutching at straws here!
