FUT is really good fun and a brilliant concept ruined only by EA Sports shocking mechanics.

Sold a lot of players to buy TOTS Alphonso Davies. His base had played 400 games for me. His TOTS is quite the upgrade

Ndicka and Haaland from my red picks this weekend… all I wanted was Ndicka and Davies so I’ll happily take it! As I expected Ndicka is an absolute beast! Probably the best cb I’ve used so far this Fifa… although on paper taking Haaland seemed like the move I kind of wish I’d took Diaby instead as he’s also unreal

I mean, this has always been a gripe but more noticeably since playing FUT.

 

I am not an amazing player, but feel like I hold my own.

 

Sometimes it just feels as though the winner has been decided before the game kicks off. Some of the deflections that literally couldn't land any nicer for someone to slot in. Also, some of the GK - one keeper will make an impossible save yet the other end of the pitch (same keeper) the ball just trickles in.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm not writing this just as a sore loser because I've had it go in my favour plenty of times. It's just very frustrating. You can usually tell in the first few minutes who the games decided will win. If its not your game, players run much slower and passes just go wayward.

 

Anyone else experience this?

Every single year… it’s a consistent issue with this game. It can either go for or against you.

 

I also find it happens more often if the opponent as a obviously weaker team than what you have as well, as if the code tries to even the game up.

 

More recently I’ve played games where I’ve gone a goal ahead and the opponent pauses to rage quit, but rather than exiting the game the game counts down and the computer continues to play for the opponent even though they’ve gone. It’s obvious this has happened as the opponents gamer tag no longer appears above the other teams head. Once the game gets to half time it crashes and I lose the win. It’s happened twice now recently.

 

If that isn’t evidence of the AI having control over the game in FUT I don’t know what is.

It's extremely frustrating. Little things where there's a scramble and you know your player is capable of getting to the ball for a certain goal but then there's like a force field between said player and the ball.

 

The game is so obviously scripted it's unreal.

You’ll find the better players are the 1s that have nailed the exploits and simply no how to abuse all the flaws in the games… as for game play and pre determined results I don’t think that’s a thing but I 100% feel like the game is programmed to try and bring players to somewhat of a level playing field at the same time kind of making the point of grinding the game to improve your team pointless! Things like if your full tots team is playing a gold team the tots players seemingly get hit with a nerf

I’ve had the whole ai taking over when a player quits but once I quit out and log back I’ve been given the win

Put the rubbish gold rares through the bundesliga player picks and final 2 I got Neuer and then Nkunku, 5 minutes after I did his POTM SBC

Duplicate Neuer from by Guaranteed bundes pack… it’s almost starting to feel a little rigged 👀

Starting to develop a half decent team now but would love to add a couple of icons to it and would love a TOTS Cancelo too!

 

Find Rodri and Jota a bit hit and miss and often sacrifice some Chemistry and swap Jota out with Akinfenwa who's very very good for me.

 

Spent some coins on a Haaland Honourable mentions TOTY who's rated 92 but again, hasn't blown me away yet.

 

Also a Honourable mentions TOTY Alaba who's rated 89 but tend to stick with VVD for the added Chemistry.

Turns out it was!

 

4 TOTS from the 25 84+ players pack.

 

Modric, Courtois, Canales and Stojkovic.

 

Plus 2 TOTW and Lewa, Ramos and Lukaku, Lloris, etc...

 

Also packed TOTS Militao from a small prime players pack from a swap SBC. Panic sold him for 700K!
