I know we have not been able to listen to live football broadcast on the Internet Via RL. You could listen to prematch build up and then after match comments, but as from yesterday, live RL is now not available to us in Portugal. The only way to listen to Football focus is now via a  podcast.

Please don't go on about me not paying TV licence etc. Although I have spent 50 years paying all my dues. The BBC can now detect vpn software so that is now out the question.

This may be another consequence of Brexit

Oh well  upwardly  mobile, all this Internet and other than adverts, more and more restrictions.

Take a look on the app store on your phone. I have an app that allows me to get live radio from all areas of Spain, hopefully there is something available for UK regions too.

If this still doesn't work, does the LCFC site do its own coverage? Granted I think Radio Leicester's is a bit better but worth a look.

Nor do I, as I am personally delighted that Stringer is blocked in Austria. Long may it continue.

My point is Bert, as the Internet gets bigger, choices and options are being reduced and becoming more intrusive. Supporting my favorite football team from afar is becoming more and more difficult. Also I have had an Internet radio station app for years listening to news about my old county was great (I still have a lot of family there), now that has stopped working as well.

I think it's due to the Olympics, they apparently block all local radio for a couple of weeks.

Hmmnn, I hope so never thought of that.. 😲

I had the displeasure of having to listen to Stringer & his little sidekick OPA on Saturday. The constant screeching, fake laughing and rambling on about anything other than football made me turn off after about 20 minutes.

*ahem* stream games as regularly as possible *ahem*

AFAIK the friendlies are available over YouTube. There are lots of paid streaming services that will help you watch the Premier League games, too.

I know this might not be financially agreeable but the BBC do have a vested interest in keeping their content on their own shores.

Not upheld. Enough disparity. The pints are 50p cheaper.
