Albrighton rating is a strange one. He was heavily involved with our 2 best chances of the game with 2 great long balls down the right. Probably tired a bit towards the end of the match but thats not really his fault

Vestergaard was Leicester best player, Söyüncü played well, and Iheanacho when he came on, good to see Evans back

Why we leave Nacho on the bench for 70+ minutes of every game astounds me

He looked knackered and should have come off. As I said in another thread, he cannot take a full back on in that state. The ball goes to him and it either goes back or he just crosses it. I've loved Albrighton here but he's coming to the end of his time now.

No subs left to do it though unfortunately. Knackered as Albrighton was, I'd much rather have had him on the pitch in that state than Barnes and Maddison, who were offering us absolutely nothing quite frankly.

I thought Albrighton's performance was solid. Combined tidily with Castagne, provided good support and actually beat Cancelo a couple of times to get crosses in. Corners were a little sloppy however.

Yeah, I do think on performance Barnes and Maddison should have come off. Vestergaard is obviously getting back to match fitness also but it was just frustrating to see Albrighton looking knackered and basically not being able to do anything. Twice we were countering and the ball went his way then it broke down.

Thought Wilf had a much better game yesterday and Youri too. Lookman and Nacho changed the pace up when they came on and we were much more positive. Agree that Vestergaard played really well and it also seemed to settle the backline - he knows Bertrand from Southampton and Kasper from international duties. Great to see Evans back as well and getting balls played out from him or motioning others to create spaces to pass. Soy looked a lot more positive with Evans beside him.

If we can replicate that last 15mins over the whole of the next game i would be confident of getting a good result.

My favorite moment was when he dummied a pass to him on the touchline and let it run out of play.

Thought Youri was poor with his passing yesterday and sloppy on the ball too, couple of good touches but thought he looked a little tired. Mind you he was wasn't honking like Madders was, Wilf had a mixed bag but was more good than bad and getting his big toe in on tackles is great to watch.

A couple of reasons - At 70 minutes he’s playing against tiered legs - giving him a bit of an advantage.

If, like some demand here we made 2 or 3 subs at half time every week. We are completely fooked if we have an injury or red card.

At the hour mark it was still 0-0, we were holding them off and the game plan was working.

I’d sooner see him starting and have Madders on at 70 mins
