This is the Leeds owners company I think isn't it?

if they're engaging with local businesses, does this mean we might finally see some everards beers at the ground.

In all seriousness though, clubs outsourcing a portion of their fan engagement doesnt seem to be a positive sign for your average local match going fan. We're already poor at fan engagement and for funds to go elsewhere it can only be detrimental.

I think it's more to do with them helping us create stat driven content for the tv screens and social media.

But then they can't get a competent company to run the food and drink inside the stadium 🤣

Assumed that'd be the case but the social media postings and the statement allude to better fan engagement and utilising local businesses more. Cloak and daggers etc etc

Yeah, I guess the will offer advert space on StadiumTV to local businesses at a cut rate or something.

Feels a bit old fashioned to me personally but hey ho

'fan engagement technology' is such an odious little phrase.

I'm engaged with the football on the pitch; I don't need technology placing between me and that. I'd wager that fans who DO need that kind of engagement won't be here when we aren't on MotD regularly anyways.

It's a service that plans on providing more means of cramming advertisement into a football match through the guise of 'stats'.
