Yeah, I had Discordantly and Corach, both of which were back markers throughout. Couldn’t believe it when I heard him mentioned with 2 fences to go

Cracking day one. The atmosphere is unreal really enjoyed it. 

 

Massive congratulations to the Midlands racing club for their win with Marie's Rock some big Leicester fans in that syndicate. 18/1 winner and a few had some serious money on it to! 

 

Home now to rest up to go again tomorrow!

Great day. Had a treble that I’d forgot about  on Constution Hill, Edwardstone & Honeysuckle. Singles on constitution Hill, Brazil & Stattler. E/W wins on Oscar Elite & HMS Seahorse. Lovely atmosphere. Legs are aching now though so glad to be in bed.

American Mike in the last tomorrow. Absolutely hacked up in previous races. My mate who follows the nags every day is having a good wedge on him. 

 

Also Pied Piper in the first race on Friday. Cantered home by a huge margin in his last race without even getting off the bridle.

I’ve been casually into horse racing for years but I’m finding it harder / more uncomfortable to watch now.

Journey with me was absolutely knackered at the end there, pretty much fell through the last hurdle. Thankfully he’s ok.
