Thracian Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 Reading the above DavieG I think you've made your point pretty emphatically.
The People's Hero Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 Good point Davie G. Although when CL doesn't seem to know his best XI... it's no surprise I suppose!
davieG Posted 24 November 2005 Author Posted 24 November 2005 Good point Davie G. Although when CL doesn't seem to know his best XI... it's no surprise I suppose! You're right, yes you are and it say's more about CL and the football managment at LCFC than it does about us; especially when we had the same situation with Adams, CL's new broom is dirtier than the floor he's supposed to be cleaning up, not only that but he's only got one or two bristles in it

The People's Hero Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 Not to mention that he paid £200,000 for it and it's probably in front of Hume and Sheehan in the pecking order to get in the first XI.
davieG Posted 24 November 2005 Author Posted 24 November 2005 Not to mention that he paid £200,000 for it and it's probably in front of Hume and Sheehan in the pecking order to get in the first XI. As a sweeper
davieG Posted 24 November 2005 Author Posted 24 November 2005 Well, Levein is daft as a brush. So should we start calling him Basil, would also fit nicely with Mr Fawlty as well.
The People's Hero Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 We'll be signing Marlon Broomes next.
Head Honcho Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 Everyone should have Gerrbrand, Hughes and Gudjonsson in the starting line up if fully fit. Gerrbrand = best defender Gudjonsson + Hughes = best midfield partnership. it has flair and skill alongside tackling and stuck in qualities Spot on but I'd also include Smith, but I can see why you didn't include him cause after all he'll be gone by January
The People's Hero Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 Spot on but I'd also include Smith, but I can see why you didn't include him cause after all he'll be gone by January Boo! Where was the continuation of the brush/broom theme?
Head Honcho Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 Boo! Where was the continuation of the brush/broom theme? Sorry mate didn't read the whole thread just got in from seeing Faithless in concertn so bit worse for wear. Basil Brush rules ok!! What was the question again :fox: :fox: :fox: hic hic s'cuse me
Head Honcho Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 Oooh! Faithless good? They were awesome but unfortunately gotta have a straight head in the morning so i was a good boy! Only downside of the night was the amount of Chavs in attendance I mean fvcking hell dont they have a trailer to go home to?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 I think the only reason people might be leaving out Smith, Hughes and Hume is if they think they're not fully fit? Surely no sane person would be putting Tiatto, Kisnorbo and Hammond in ahead of them???
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 SMUDGER = LEFT WING. EVERYONE KNOWS IT gezzer has a point
Cobbo Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 gezzer has a point What was his? Ric has one too. Hughes---Gudjonsson---Wesolowski---Smith That looks like a good midfield to me two midgits in the middle too Equal opportunities at this footy club.
Sir Fynwy Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 SMUDGER = LEFT WING. EVERYONE KNOWS IT Same was said about Henry when he was 20, doesn't seem to have hurt his goals ratio though.
Ric Flair Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 What was his? Ric has one too. Hughes---Gudjonsson---Wesolowski---Smith That looks like a good midfield to me two midgits in the middle too Equal opportunities at this footy club. To be fair that would be awesome. I know Hughes is better in the centre but with a decent right back who likes getting forward (Stearman or Maybury) then Hughes can do abit of 'roaming' anyway. I honestly believe that if we had that midfield with a decent striker upfront (Hume) then we'd win our fair share of games.
Ric Flair Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 Same was said about Henry when he was 20, doesn't seem to have hurt his goals ratio though. Henry was a striker though who was shunted out on the left wing. Wenger signed him and put him upfront and changed his game abit and now look at him. Smith's position hasn't and isn't being questioned, he's a natural winger and even Stevie Wonder would tell you that.
Milky Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 SMUDGER = LEFT WING. EVERYONE KNOWS IT some people don't want him in the side because he isn't one for the future of leicester as we have no chance of signing him. they think he is restricting the sides development. i think he should be in the side though.

Sorry, please point me in the direction of anyone who doesn't want to see Smith in our side cos I wanna slap them.
Sly Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 Joey G is the only one who's place is safe at the moment. I'd of said Nissi but sadly CL seems to disagree.
