David Speedie - the dive, the most hated man in Leicester, then signing for us. Then the best moment, when he squared up to Kasper’s Dad at Old Trafford.
Getting sent off in the play off semi final and not getting the chance to play at Wembley.

So many shocking things related to Speedie and he was only with us for a season or two.

I remember being in the stand when the ball came out to the touchline by me. Danny n'guessen had the ball, the full back was out of position and he had whole wing in front of him at his mercy. 

 

"Here's a chance" I thought, but n'guessen calmly controlled the ball, looked around, and passed the ball backwards. 

 

It was at this point I completely wrote the guy off, no football brain whatsoever. Mage schlupp look intelligent

Does anyone remember Nicky Adams? I think it was his debut or it could have been the first time I saw him play, he was down in the corner did a little round the back flick nutmegged the defender and ended up being a perfect 1-2 with the corner flag and he scampered off into the box. Nothing came from it so it never appeared on any highlights but it was a genius bit of skill/fluke. Does anyone else remember this?

Maybe he had Brendan as a coach at some time prior?
