I mentioned it on the first page of the thread. Used to have the video clip saved on my phone as it was that bizarre.

For those fortunate enough to have never seen it or forgotten about it. Enjoy!

Kisnorbo at CDM

I loved how when he converted to CB everyone would sing how he used to be shite but now he's 'alright'

What a confidence booster that must've been to reach complete averageness status from your own fans lol

Not a player but our manager strangling an opposition player on the touchline was quite a surreal moment.

I always thought that was Pearson being playful in a spur of the moment way and it was somehow misunderstood and then blown out of all proportion in the media shortly before Ostrich-gate!

This is one I always have to challenge.

There's a fairly prevalent myth told surrounding this. The old 'And he never refereed a game in Europe again' sometimes with an added 'he was found guilty of corruption'.

It's absolute toss. He went on to manage in Europe the very next season in the very same competition. He was never a prolific European referee and only managed 2 more seasons of a game a piece in Europe

Myth destroyed, well, some demythication achieved at least

Being it was reported at the time on smudgy pieces of paper, eg Irish times, that UEFA dropped him from their list, most might be forgiven for not following his career afterwards.

New shiny webpages can be misleading or incomplete too, Daily Mail online whilst talking to Juninho

' Harrel was subsequently removed from Uefa's referee list but that was scant consolation for Leicester.'

Whilst the page is open, Juninho on the incident and atmosphere on Filbert Street,

'Taking a free kick too quickly is not a reason to be sent off,' says Juninho. 'I can't remember exactly what happened but if it was only for that then yes it was too harsh.'

As he recalls the second match at Filbert Street the fog of nostalgia comes in again. 'The English stadiums are fantastic,' he says. 'I really missed that when I left - always full and noisy. In Spain you don't get that in every game.

Michael Morrison handball, Portsmouth away.

To this day I still mutter anger about that game/Morrison’s stupidity his arm was (exaggerated) at least 8ft off the ground.

6-1 with Super Stevie Howard scoring a consolation goal wasn’t it?

It does show you how far we have come though doesn’t it?

Last one from me, I am still in shock

It probably wasn't exactly what the OP was asking for but this is definitely the most shocked I've ever been by anything our players and club have ever done.

We chose to forget that period, any signing made by Craig Levine easily fits the bill of this thread.

I found the mention of Craig Levein and Spurs 3-2  would've neatly fitted into the month of January 2006 re that famous FA Cup R3 win of course but I think the OP meant last season's manic 2-3 home defeat to them in minute 107 !!

Anyone remember Elliot elbowing Savage and getting sent off when Sav was playing for Birmingham? I feel like that happened, but could have also dreamt it, I was quite young.

That game should be mentioned in here tbf.

Elliott got sent off for elbowing someone but it wasn't Savage. I remember because it was Savage who led the complaints though (probably as any opposition player would tbf).

Walker also got sent off later in the game for a handball outside his area.

I watched the match in full a little while ago. It's a very interesting one to watch in that our game plan completely crumbles after Parker gets sent off, because it's not really something you can plan for (also Martin kept Ian Marshall on for far too long when he was clearly knackered).

Without sounding too much like a defence, Harrel was incompetent, not corrupt. Parker takes the free kick and the yellow comes out straight away for presumably gamesmanship. It shouldn't have come to that because he should have at least taken the time to have a word with Parker about waiting for the whistle.

But there's clearly an "Oh shit" moment when Harrel goes to write Parker's name in the book and realises he's already booked him in the first half. But at that point he's in too deep. If he takes a bit of time to assess the situation, no way a card comes out and we probably win the game.

That’s the one!

Other belters from that season - the Newcastle player getting twatted by the ball in the face. Nuts mags covering the kop end goal mouth in the pouring rain after getting battered off Villa (same game the fan confronted Walker I think). Nalis v Leeds. La Manga. Mental season.

Scott Taylor was absolutely phenomenal that day, I was convinced after that game he was going to be a top, top player. Unfortunately injuries got the better of him, but his bleach blonde hair might be worth a mention in the shocking thread

I seem to remember Howard rallying up our fans with his arms despite it being like 4 or 5 nil. You gotta laugh or you'll cry. Still remember some burke ringing up Radio Leicester after saying "to all you lads listening on the coach i take my hat off to you". Like you can pick up ****ing Radio Leicester in Portsmouth.
