Summer refresh/deadwood/players that have let us down

Other than that, maybe a few loans here and there. Maybe send Thomas out on loan as he's not going to get much game time this season if everyone stays fit.

Far easier said than done. If Perez, Vestergaard and Bertrand were rumoured to be coming here, would you be getting all excited about the prospect? I think it would be the same for supporters of other clubs 🤣. What a hapless bunch those three in particular are, in Brendan we trust, he has a real eye for a player 🤣🤣

Definitely easier said then done.

I was never excited about the prospect of those 3 coming to Leicester 😂 I feel sorry for whatever team they may be shipped out to.

I don’t disagree with this but for one, Daka will come good. Should we sell Soumare, most will be recouped, vice-versa for Praet who if used effectively, is a good squad player anyway. He’s been a bit harshly treated.

 

Do agree with your point regarding Perez and Vestegaard though. 45m spent and we will be lucky to get 15m back.

Vestegard aside they're all useful squad players (or should be). We've just paid about 25% more for them than we should've, and even more so on wages.

Tielemans held us back a bit last season, only really good performance was at Old Trafford, hes also holing us back now, stay or go, make your mind up, Obviously does not care about the club only himself and his family (fair enough}, to many of our fans think hes a god yet as far as we know no one has bid for him, for me there are a lot of very good midfielders out there, Maybe this wil be resolved quickly, i hope so.

Mendy is excellent in receiving the ball under pressure and slowing the game down eith neat passing when we are leading.  

 

Perez can unlock a packed low block defence that's holed up holding on to a lead. 

 

Barnes is tremendous on the break if we are a goal up and there's a high line to play against

We’ve signed players that haven’t added any value either on or off the pitch.

When I read on here (I’m assuming it’s true) that Hamza Choudry is ‘earning’ 😳 60k per week, it told me that the club has really let itself down in recent years re our recruitment policy.

Choudry is your archetypal bang average centre midfielder that would look more suited to a good championship side. But it looks like we can’t loan him out because of his ridiculous wages. 
I suspect that Vestergaard and Bertrand are on very decent money and it looks like we are completely lumbered with them. 
This is why we can’t afford now to go out and spend on a better squad. We have a very average ‘squad’ of players who are basically unsellable.

Really poor business on our part in some cases I’m afraid .
