Mark Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 Anyone think we could get adam boyd from hartlepool? He's been awful this season and struggled to get a start? So we most likely could, but going on recent form it wouldn't be a good move. I was all for it at the end of last season though.

Don't agree their are better strikers then Matty Fryatt in that league who we would be able to afford . 11 goals this season although 6 are penalties in 21 games. Your right, even Oooh Tommy Wright has a better strike rate than Fryatt. Just thought i'd bring up this embarrassing thread up for myself, Manwell and Mr C!!!!!! Oooops! Although I would like to say that a week before we were linked with Fryatt I did say he was quality and we couldn't afford him, I mudt have been ill when I posted this.

Although I would like to say that a week before we were linked with Fryatt I did say he was quality and we couldn't afford him, I mudt have been ill when I posted this. At that time anyone we brought in were to play alongside De Vries (which he then was for Levein's last two games), so his lack of pace was just a concern.
