Hello friends,

 

Just wanted to wish those who celebrate diwali, bandi chhor divas or both all the best. Many blessings to you all from my family to yours.

 

We are a mixed household (wife is hindu, i am sikh) so celebrate both.

 

The wife chalked a rangoli on my new ashphalt driveway. My young daughter tried as well lol

Happy Diwali!

Vegetarian day so will be limited to vegetarian curry dishes and roti.

 

Green dhal is one of my favorites so that and a potato based sabji (maybe channa/cholay) likely. Nothing crazy over here today. We spent more time cleaning the house top to bottom over the last week. That means level 5 biohazard cleaning of inside and outside of any cabinet, drawer, dusting, windows, vacuumed x50 etc etc lol essentially, every surface inside/out that exists inside this house. 

 

Just sitting here relaxing with a good old cup of cha (chai) and some indian sweets.  Got to start cooking in the next hour.
