A two or three year rolling cycle would probably be the best way of doing it, but the club won't listen.

Because they don't want to upset Doris on coach 1.

It really isn't a easy fix now. I know age shouldn't really be a factor. But I was doing aways regularly in the mid to late 90s and have effectively been P1 since they brought in the system in any guise. Dating back to our L1 season and before. When you had to take your match ticket stubs in to get your card stamped.

However I definitely accept that there's also a status quo. My boy has had a season ticket since the 14/15 season and has done places like Sunderland, West ham, Burton etc to try get his points up. But he's never gonna get to p1, so I now have to wait to see if games make his level. Wss fortunate to get him a PSV ticket. Bur if we had a CL fixture again anyrime soon I think he would struggle.

Said many a time. I'm not sure what the answer or the fairest solution is. But having done the FCC thing  i do accept you are correct the club see no issue with the current system as they  see it as rewarding long term support. But as I say that's just an age bias if anything.

Has been discussed multiple times at the fans forum to make it a fairer system to reward loyal away fans

Seems the club can't be bothered

Correct.

They see going digital as the issue on ticketing.

So if myself and my son are succesful at the end of this season in applying for a season ticket, we have essentially got to wait 9 years (in the existing scheme) before we have a realistic chance of obtaining away tickets for the better than average away days?

I'm quite low on the away priority but have been able to get tickets for quite a few away games this season including Liverpool Chelsea and West ham

Does anyone know if it’s possible to get on the away scheme or is everyone on it just carried it over from the championship? Would the club offer it to you for going to all away games a few seasons in a row?

How would you go to every away game a few seasons in a row without being P1 in the first place?

My lad started going when we were in the the third tier, didn’t start going to away games until a couple of seasons later but got to Rennes and PSV last season. I’m happy with how it currently works. If you’ve been a season ticket holder for over 9 years and 8 away games a season you’ve put the hard work in to warrant European and FA Cup Final tickets.

No you can't join the scheme now, although I do know non scheme members do get tickets on the scheme day or before ;)

I was just wondering really. I did every away day league, both cups and also went to PSV last year on P2. I am currently 2 priority points off being P1 but I was just curious because it seems a lot of tickets are already gone before it even goes to p1 from what I’ve read/ heard so surely there must still be a lot of fans on the scheme.

About 250 tickets for Forest went on the scheme, numbers are relatively low. 700 had already gone (box, corporate, players, staff etc) before they even went on sale to those on the scheme.

I know staff should be rewarded in someways. But surely someone working in the office who hasn’t been to

any away games shouldn’t get a ticket before someone who goes week in week out up and down the country.

Give them free tickets to matches that are not as much high demand. Why do they need to be given tickets to arguably our most sought after tickets of the season? Makes no sense

I agree with you. Most of the ticket office who go to away games probably steward on the coaches and get free tickets anyway. I am nit priority so doesn’t affect me but those who travel everywhere week in week out should get tickets before the staff. Staff are only going Cus it’s easy to get too. Bet they didn’t go Hartlepool in JPT

Staff normally get 2 max but it’s box holders were the majority go before the public sale. Particularly when it comes to a local game like Forest.

I don’t agree (and have bored plenty to death on here arguing about it) but they are more deserving than staff handing out to their mates for sure

I agree with what you said. I know staff who do that. Nit going to name them but they do it every big game. The people that go only go to the line of forest Man U Liverpool Wembley etc. b don’t even start me on what some get away with at home games because their face fits or went to school with certain.
