Shambles getting in but thought it was a fairly entertaining game. Superb cameo from Noni Madueke.

 

Don't know if we were ever really in with a chance for him but what a player he could have been for us

As for France, very much reminded me of us under Brendan. Lot of the ball with nowt to show for it and end up getting pummelled

Really enjoyed that, all France 1st half and England absolutely smashed it 2nd half. Gibbs-White looked good, Madueke absolute #baller, Ramsey made a big difference second half. Liked the look of Cresswell at the back. It was refreshing to watch a second half of a football match at the KP this season where the home team played fast attacking football. Hopefully Brendan was watching..

With the average age probably being 30yrs younger too. Kids really seem to enjoy Sweet Caroline for a reason that escapes me.

 

Thought the French no 19 looked decent in the first half. They really should've been ahead at the break.

If Chelsea don't have any plans of actually using Madueke, we should try and get a loan for him next season. I'm not always a big fan of loan signings from the big clubs, but given we will need a fair few new signings in the summer, a couple of loans wouldn't be a terrible idea. All depends what league we are in of course

James Trafford was decent. Seems like such a big deal having a competent keeper these days.

Yes, France missed some sitters in the first half. I was in SK4 so had a great view of the misses and the 4 England goals. 

 

Indeed, we could do a lot worse than poach Lee Carsley based on that performance. He understood what to change at half time, and it worked.

Some people were sniggering at the thought he could get the senior's job if Southgate walked away. But think it would be a bit of an upgrade in all honesty. Would know what to do with the attacking talent available

Not too bad at SK4.I got there early expecting a long queue, but only about 30 in the line at 1630, so plenty of time for a beer.

The queuing seemed strange. Arrived 5 mins before kick off. Walked past turnstiles from 6 onwards which had huge queues, I went in turnstiles 1-6 and walked straight in

Given Southgate came up from the Under 21s wouldn't be a big surprise if he does well and as you say has a clear way of playing.
