Hi folks. Just looking for suggestions as to where to park tomorrow. I'm a Bournemouth fan travelling solo from Bournemouth and then up to my home in Manchester after the match. Used the park and Ride last time but that was a nightmare after the match and struggled to find anywhere the time before. Happy to walk 20 to 30 mins and planning to get there about 1.30 so thinking off Narborough Road? Any tips gratefully received: thanks in advance!

There usually plenty of parking up near Regents College. On Regents Road, West Walk, Princess Road East. You have to pay, but I guess that's the case in most places.

Narborough Road is a good choice if you are OK walking 15/20 mins. Look before the railway bridge as everything after is permits and short term parking (3 hour max stay).

Look around Fullhurst College and the KFC. Or just off Evesham Road and side streets.

the businesses on commercial square open up their parking for match days but it's paid. used to be a pain getting out, not sure what it's like now they've opened up the bottom end by saffron lane

Be careful around Narborough Road as it is limited in areas on match days.

If you don’t mind a 30 minute walk, Lee circle car park in the city centre is £3.95 for 24 hours I think, easy to get to and out of after,  if you are heading to Manchester straight after I’d avoid junction 21 and take the A50 up to Markfield to get on the M1.

You can probably park in Roger´s former spot just outside the stadium...

I've always parked at the bottom of Lambert Road, off Narborough Road. Just walk through the bridge at the end of the road onto Wilberforce Road. easy getaway after the game as well. 20 minutes max.

Thanks for all the responses folks, especially Promised Land and the point about avoiding junction 21 (I find the Waze app tends to help in these situations) Don't mind paying but will probably try one of the free options first.

Just had a quick look at some of the comments on the forum about tomorrow's game. I best give the forum a swerve if we do happen to win or even get a point 😀

Thanks again folks and all the best for the rest of the season, especially in choosing a sensible manager! Genuinely hope you stay up at the expense of certain other clubs that shall remain nameless...

Paul.

Commercial Square, which is literally 5/10 minute walk to the ground but only issue is that it's a one way system and is a nightmare, most of the time, getting out. Another decent spot is at the top of Filbert Street, theres a massive block of flats that accommodate for the football folk. Sure its usually £10 but again its only a stone throw away from the ground.

Good luck and all the best on Saturday.

All spaces for this site are usually booked solid weeks in advance.

I know they used to issue Parking Permits for the regulars but they also had a lot of away fans park there?

Freeman's Common Multi Storey is brilliant. £5 on match day and it's massive. About a 10 minute walk but easy to get away after

11 Putney Rd, Leicester LE2 7TF
