No. He failed badly at Leipzig getting their worst record since promotion and his stint at Leeds was pretty rubbish - though he did keep them up, albeit from I think a better position than we're now in, and it was by the skin of their teeth.

I don't think he can make us any worse than we currently are but it's incredibly clear to me that they don't 'really' want him and they're just simply panicking on one of the only people who'll actually commit to us for any length of time, given the situation we've put ourselves into.

I will give him a chance but I'm pretty confident it won't be good. My prediction if he gets it is that we're relegated this season and he's gone before Christmas while in the Championship. But then it's hard to hold any optimism about the club at the minute. The odds are not in his favour.

Having seen Stowell and Sadler in action, I'd take anybody, even Jesse Marsch. Hopefully he gets rid of those donkeys.

It’s difficult as so many poor decisions have been made over the past 18 months:

Rodger’s Fa cup selection at forest

numerous poor performances

Vardy new deal

schmeichel being allowed to leave

tielemans mismanagement

maddison mismanagement

October 22 should have sacked BR like Villa did

what we do not need is a shocker now as we will pay for it for the next 5-10 years especially if the owners want out

i for one have come to terms with relegation but we will not comeback quickly without a good manager who has experience - the restructuring is massive on relegation and also we have very few players who will be able to stay and play - Souttar, Thomas, Kristensen, D-Hall, Daka maybe to build a new team around as other will all want out !!

so let’s at least get the manager right and JM would be a car crash !!

Also to all those people who were baying for Rodger's blood and now unhappy with his potential replacement. What did you think would happen? Rodgers at the time was probably the highest profile manager we could attract. Did you think we'd get Pochettino or Tuchel or Nagelsman?

If you'd been calling for the sacking months ago (as I did) then you've every right to not be happy with this as we wanted it when our bargaining position was much stronger. Shame nobody at the club seemed to have this fairly obvious foresight.

I’m same.

Before yesterday: no.

Now: pretty much anyone is an improvement, and I still have 2% faith that Top and Rudkin knows what he’s doing

Yes, I'm afraid that's how I read it. An inept manager sacked by an equally inept owner and board far to late.

He won't keep us up, he won't then get us promoted and will be sacked by October bringing in another big expense. Be happy to be proven wrong of cause but I'll confidently say I won't be. So what's the answer? Well either stick with the dream team and pray or get some dinosaur in like palace, and pray.
