Got to be a contender for me… that phase of play was outstanding. 

 

The funny thing is that, that is the goal that Brendan dreamt of but was too negative to allow it to happen. Brendan’s philosophy of only one full back being allowed forward would have prevented it for a start. 

 

The layoff to soumare, the instant pass into space the cleverness of the ball in from VK and the finish is just cool as anything.

 

Very very enjoyable goal to watch back and i doubt we will score a better team goal for a long time

That second goal today for me is probably the best 'team' goal - would never win any competitions or catch too many eyes but it was the sign of an actual good team which is a lot more assuring for us going forward than Tielemans scoring a 30 yarder, as welcomed as that is.
