Thracian Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Joey's last free-kick summed it up. All I've got to say is 12/15 wasted free-kicks and we leave Sheehan at home...yet the last time he played a League game we won 2-0 Levein has tried everyone and his dog in that position but I cannot recall any two goal wins - in fact I cannot recall many wins at all. At least we tried to attack but the ball-to-feet approach seemed to have gone, our marksmanship was crap (as usual) and some players like Maybury, Kisnorbo, Sylla, hardly seemed involved according to the commentary. Sylla, who I've said was a weakness months ago, completed another game without threatening a goal and even Smithy seem to be neutralised second half. A silly free kick and a deflection gave Leeds two goals and McCarthy's sending off meant a rally was hoped for but hardly likely. I wonder what Levein's reaction will be to that incident. We HAVE to start scoring from our dead ball chances.
Bluefoxtim Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 THE END. RUBBISH. " We beat sheff utd we can beat anyone" Yeah. 2 - 1
syston_fox Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Another false dawn against Sheff Utd it was then
cisono Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Obviously not!!! Even with a penalty in our favour, we could not get ONE point...
Collymore Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 does anyone notice every now and then that barber turns into a cockney? It's like he's staring in a musical like Oliver or summet!
Durnerz Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 I bet we'll be feature game on the Championship with ITV Sniffing Leeds's arses.

Louise Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Down to 16th. Sounded like we edged the first half then fell apart in the second... I'll wait to see what the people who were there say though.
Collymore Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Down to 16th. Sounded like we edged the first half then fell apart in the second... I'll wait to see what the people who were there say though. It's been very overcast today.
Louise Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Is that a sly blow aimed at Thracian I don't know what you mean.
Collymore Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 I don't know what you mean. I mean it's cloudy outside
Anish Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Well, you don't always get what you deserve, that's life and that's the nature of football.

Milky Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 People calling for his head on RL though, shocking. roll on the transfer window.
Thracian Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 infact i'll edit it so no one notices There or not I know we've lost for the second time this week and we've wasted loads and loads of free-kicks plus loads and loads of corners. Furthermore we squandered em without the slightest hint of anything imaginative. But, you're right. The fans at the match will doubtless come back singing everyone's praises, insisting that the preparation was spot on, that the half-time motivation was marvellous and that Maybury was man-of-the-match playing out of position. If not they'll point to the team being tired after Bolton or McCarthy's sending-off costing us what would have been a dramatic recovery. Me, I'd still like us to play stop playing people out of position and I'd like us to do something about our glaring weaknesses, like Sylla and I'd like to see some proper coaching being made apparent (and not just on dead ball situations). PS I don't want Levein's head. I just want him (and his coaches) to start using theirs. But at least we tried to win the match.
