I totally agree with the decision to get rid of him but sounds like it could have been handled a lot better.

Not a good look for the club if true.

Bu the abuse Glyn has had online today is also totally uncalled for. It's all left a bitter taste ahead of what is the club's biggest game ever in the FA Trophy on Saturday.

Totally agree, the problem is those people think the club is called Adam Stevens FC rather than Coalville Town.

lol

Ive thought exactly the same reading some of the stuff today. You'd think he had taken us up 4 levels rather than spending 5/6 years at the same level.

The season is still salvageable at this stage, so im glad hes been able to pull the trigger. The fact that Stevo was surprised confirms to me that complacency had well settled in for him.

I see Hutchings went to St Ives and got a clean sheet in a 2 0 away win at Redditch lol

At Solihull Moors yesterday took on Altrincham offered season ticket holders of Nuneaton Boro free admission... mainly helps the chairman is from nuneaton.

Solihull is certainly a club thats grew.

Match wow... forgotteable understatement. Ive seen more entertaining 0-0 draws this match was terrible. Altrincham won 1-0 but neither side created much.

I know, some absolute rubbish being spouted out. I bet most of them barely ever attend games.

A bit annoying that we’ve released Hutchings with Stevo going a few days later. Would have liked the new manager to get a look at him.

Fair play to Coalville - doing a favour there to the new Nuneaton club

Be surprised if they are that tone deaf at Owen St. They should look fresh like Banbury and Mickleover did/have done.

I would be amazed if it had even an ounce of truth in it

I assume Glynn and Jimmy are probably friends, similar ages and local businessmen, which is why he'd have been down to watch us.

Had anything been pre-planned then I imagine it would already have been announced.

He's not really done anything impressive and is in his 60s now, it'd be an absurd appointment. All I've heard so far is that there's been plenty of interest, which you'd expect. Agree with Cosbeh that I'd definitely be looking at a younger coach on their way up who has good contacts with local pro teams.

I wonder if we’d offer free entry to Nuneaton ST holders if JG was appointed?

We'd probably have to offer free entry to Coalville fans

Scott Mcmanus and Leroy Lita two of his ex Boro players are playing for Coalville...if they put a good word then you never know.

But honestly Jimmy going to Coalville would be a massive step backwards. You will be relegated in two seasons and had the average age of the squad will be 36.

For me hes part of the reason Boro got into the mess they got in.

New buyers have delayed buying KTFC. Crowds dropping off. Worst performance of the season this weekend in a season of worst performances.

Things not going well.

Stand more of a chance for the rest of the season if the Over-50s mens walking football side was sent out to play.
