I’d have been more comfortable with Parker because he’s done it before, but wouldn’t have been particularly exciting. Gerrard felt as much of a gamble, especially with no Beale

I feel a whole heap of optimism today for the season. Tbf the owners have pulled a rabbit out of the hat with this one. The assistant manager to arguably the greatest club manager on the planet right now who assisted pep in winning the treble. There really must be something decent about Enzo. Remember Arteta was his assistant and he seems to have got Arsenal going in the right direction now. Yes I'm very optimistic of where this signing is going for LCFC.

Cant think of many coaches/players that worked under SAF that have gone on to be good managers.

When the 'Parker In' fake news broke i was totally ready to have a season away from the sport.  I don't like him, don't like his football and had no interest in 'getting behind him' - needless to say I am feeling very different right now.

Kompany has only done what Keane done so far.

The last Italian managed we had worked out alright! Even though it's a risk it's more exciting than some of the other names we've been linked with. I really like his comments about the winning mentality too and that Leicester is a 'demanding club'. Let's back him.
