Yes, I use the LCFC-themed mugs I got from the online LCFC shop specifically for tea.

Looking for some tea recommendations from you all to purchase.

Loose leaf tea for me every time  , mash for 5 minutes , splash of full fat milk  - no strainer .

.

Currently favouring Yorkshire or Marks and Spencer own brand.

I prefer it like mud so nice and strong.

Mug.
Teabag in.
Water in.

BREW.

Milk in.

Squeeze the teabag (not so hard that it ends up ripping, been there done that)

Sugar.

Stir.

Let the tea sit for a few minutes to achieve maximum flavour.

Drink.

This guy gets it!

Always milk in first before squeezing the bag, it helps with getting the right colour depending on the preference.

I've been a milk in first person for donkeys years. It helps to make the tea taste smoother and not too bitter.

You have to pour the water correctly though, nice and slowly, and keeping the bag just above the water level until the cup is full.

I recall that @Carl the Llama gave a scientific but concise explanation into why milk before water is the best method.    The kind of explanation that would give @leicsmac  massive boner.

That alone convinced me mentally to trial the milk method but I have not physically tried it.

Depends.
At work - to save time it’s one of those thermos metal sort cups, tea bag, milk, water (as I have limited time so putting the milk in first allows me to grab it and go once the kettle boils) , let sit for until I remember to take the bag out and then slowly drink over 1-2 hours whilst it still remains a good temp.

At home - the biggest cup I can find, tea bag, water, milk.

earl grey when I remember to buy, otherwise any brand of tea, not too fussed.

Earl Grey is one of those flavours I've never understood.

The first time I tried it I thought my mate had washed the cups with fairy liquid and not rinsed them out. Turns out that's just what it tastes like!
