Yorkshire teabags for me, colour is important too gotta be a good tan like appearance.

I do enjoy a flavoured green tea like lemon, apple etc...

Fruit tea with vitamins too if I'm feeling the need for one.

Also had a soft spot for lady grey too.

Had a few lapsong shochong which are very strong.

Earl Grey for me. Tesco's own brand. The only downside is that the bags come in pairs and if you try to tear them apart all at once, some bags split open, because the perforations down the middle aren't great. To make, avoid using a teapot. Just pour boiling water over one bag in a cup or mug, add two sweeteners, stir, remove the bag and finally add semi-skimmed milk. Perfect!

Twinnings English Breakfast for a standard brew

Drink a lot of the Pukka tea during the day - various flavours…. More herbal stuff

Also love Twinnings Sleepy tea

piling through Les Deux Marmottes…. Linden and verbena infusion…I can only get it from France, so pile high (along with wine) when I visit my Mum…

Love tea.  Not really fussed by the brand, just so long as the milk goes in before the water.

This is wrong and I'm surprised you've not been banned from the internet, let alone this site.

Mug.

Teabag in.

Water in.

BREW.

Squeeze teabag and take out.

Milk in.

Stir.

Drink.

No!

I'm with @FoxesDeb on this.

Pouring boiling water onto milk scalds it and ruins the subsequent flavour.

The worst cup of tea I ever had was made by an Asian guy who made it for me as I was treating his wife. He simply put a spoonful of leaf tea, the milk and water in a pan and boiled it all together. >_<

But pouring cold milk into boiling water is OK?

I've done it for years.  It's the best.

I've never tried the water/milk/loose tea in a pan, but that really doesn't sound right, and I feel sorry that that happened to you!

Yes, because you can adjust the amount of milk to your liking.

That's not possible when adding the milk in first.

Prince of Wales - afternoon tea.

I will definitely have to give that a try.

From Twinings, I've had the English Breakfast tea which is 3 out of 4 leaves in the Twinings strength rating, and recently bought their Irish Breakfast tea ranked 4 out of 4 leaves in the Twinings strength ranking. Prince of Wales appears to be ranked 2 out of 4 leaves in strength, making really it optimal to drink for the afternoon.

It's a beautiful tea to look at, odd thing to say but you'll see when you open the pack what I mean, if you buy it loose that is.

It's one I will drink even though I'm not a huge tea drinker, floral and a little fruity.  My wife swears by a cup in the afternoon and who am I to argue with the great lady...

Squeeze the teabag (not so hard that it ends up ripping, been there done that)

Sugar.

Stir.

Let the tea sit for a few minutes to achieve maximum flavour.

Drink.
