Fire stick settings

Hi,

 

Can anyone help. I am am watching on my fire stick through a link and it is constantly buffering now and failing.

 

the fire stick and app I use have lots of settings but I have no idea which to change to get stable streams. Can anyone help?

Have you done the usual clearing cache, data and restarting it?

That's been my experience of streams on Kodi all year. To the point Ive paid for a day pass today to watch on now TV.

Mine has been awful today as well. Stopped the wired connection and went on my wifi and it has helped. Unsure why  

 

 

Edit. I have a box so unsure if this will work for firestick

I seem to have found a setting that may have helped. It was buffering timer. It was set to 300 ms and I changed it to 5 seconds. Presuming that means how far I am behind the game, felt if it was a bit more of a delay, the stream might not be struggling so much.

I don’t have a VPN Set up on my fire stick and thought that may help but I have no idea which VPN will do the trick and is ideally free. Any suggestions guys?

That IFollow channel has been a big let down over the last month for me

It was good tonight on that £50 box, only because it was being shown on sky
