He didn’t play at the the same level as Neil Lewis but another promising fullback who disappeared from view was Kerrea Gilbert. He had a great season for us in League One and then didn’t really kick on.

Yeah likewise .can even remember seeing it in the Merc. Just looked him up and was only 24 when he came to us. I thought he was older

Peggy Arphexad - we all know the rumours of where his career ended up, but for a man who started his career at Brest - I’m pretty sure he didn’t end it there too - what though did happen to him?

Hot prospect at Forest, we get him for something like £500k at tribunal which from memory they thought was robbery.

Played in perhaps the most lightweight midfield 2 we've ever had with Stephen Hughes, injured a bit, off to Watford, then?

On Neil Lewis, I’m sure I played against him in the Sunday League not long after he retired - early 2000s maybe.

It was in the days of being crap hungover and trying to run around at 10am on a Sunday morning and the opposition turn up with Neil Lewis - I can’t for the life of me remember the team or how the game went.

I know Gary Coatsworth is at Nissan in Sunderland and Phil Gee is at Bombardier. 

Jimmy Willis drives a taxi in Liverpool.

I heard David speedie drives a cab also but also heard he was an agent.

He was on the treadmill next to me when Sky were showing highlights of the Man U 5-3 game which was very surreal 😂
