On the TIFO itself:

You don't get this type of fan engagement, fan buy-in from club manufactured shit

Absolutely, its a lovely back story. Something the whole Palace support can be proud of.

Incredible effort to be fair it looks superb it was very well organised all day by the sounds of things and over £45k raised!

They probably will get some heat for the flares but who cares just shows what can be done if people buy in to creating an atmosphere

Just a smidge under 90% season ticket occupancy in the SK1/G1 section.

The vast majority of match by match availability will be in G1, SK1 basically singles only for match by match.

Any word on the number of STH's who have moved out of the sections. Don't want it to be like this year where there was a lot of STH's who refused to move and didn't contribute to the atmosphere at all

Based on the screenshots in the new season ticket thread, almost everyone in the affected area in G1 moved out.

Perfect. New group of STH in G1 is exactly what we need

Had a browse of the tickets for the opening fixture. SK1 standing is basically sold out as normal, there was a couple of singles available. But there were a lot in G1. Wanted to point out that it's the same block of spaces basically. Those spaces in G1 are immediately next to those in SK1, not even separated by a staircase.

Just a heads up as it's not immediately clear by looking at the seating plan. There are plenty next to each other on general sale.

The title of this thread should be renamed to Standing Section Updates in my opinion, as not only does it sound a lot better but it also makes sense now that this area of the stadium will be safe standing next season. Any chance? @davieG @Ric Flair

My lad who's 13 is desperate to go in here but I worry he won't be able to see anything standing. Anyone else take a youngun in there have any feedback? I don't know if it was possible to jocky for position a bit easier with there being no seats?

I also thought of the seat section next to it?

Do people tend to stand in there still or do they tend to sit?

The first few rows of the G block side of it do occasionally sit.
I take my lad who is 7 there but he comes with me on the first row of standing.
I’d suggest maybe getting him a seat in SK2 by it, budge in with UFS if you and him feel like it and if not the seat is there.

There’s a young kid near me and he just stands on the seat and seems fine. I guess you could get a seat at the end of the row so he can move slightly into the stair bit if needed too.

Also great that your lad wants to come into that area of the ground.
If he is into UFS etc drop me a line and we can make sure there is a flag put in his seat for him to wave.

With season ticket on General Sale for the first time in years we wanted to again extend an invite to anyone looking for a more buoyant matchday to join us in the SK1/G1 standing section next season.

This is a great chance to refresh this corner of the ground after 13 years of extremely limited availability.

All ages welcome, the rail seating we lobbied so long for means all ages can safely enjoy this area and contribute to the vocal support of the team.

Purchase your first season ticket with us or make the move over from another area and make the most of home games next season.

0344 815 5000, option 1.

UFS.

Near enough singles only in SK1 standing now. Club will probably just pull general sale today with no warning so it's really last orders I should think. Get involved!

Why will they pull it?

There's only a certain number of season tickets available and people who have called up and/or spoken to Jim have said they're getting close to the maximum.

Did you relocate in?

Should point out that even with "new" season tickets being taken off sale, people with exisiting STs can still relocate in at any time.

The last I saw from the map there were about 30 spaces from the 1000 ish standing spaces in SK1. However there is a lot of room in G1. It doesn't look like it on the map but the standing spaces in G1 are dirtectly next to the ones in SK1 (it's not seperated by an aisle) so you're not missing out by being in there. Much better availability for groups, lads and dads etc to be there and still involved.  :scarf:
