This team needs our sports psychologists back!

I’ve seen enough and all roads are pointing to a psychological issue with our players. I’m not an expert but I hope some of you are and can chime in. Didn’t we have a few under Pearson & Ranieri? Any thoughts?

Ranieri got rid of the main psychologist during the summer, after we’d won the league.

Ranieri did it, not Rodgers.

The  sports psychologist when Leicester won the title was Ken Way, he wrote a a great book titled Mental Mastery around 2010. That's probably why Nigel Pearson recruited him.

 

Would be great if he's bought back because our players seem to crumble under pressure towards the end of matches

I don't go too far the other way like some do and say Ranieri did nothing - but the title win gave too many at our club power they never should have had. We know about Rudkin, but Ranieri dismantled a lot of the backroom staff because we trusted him with way too much. Guess we paid the price for them days in more ways than one.

I remember quite afew of the leading players were said to be peed off with Ranieri has he seemed to taking all the plaudits and going taking all the credit for the win and not including the players

I bet Putin has got a few sports political psychologists that could explain the importance of not turning their backs when somebody is shooting from outside the box. Do svidaniya.
