Real Bedford FC are going to buy out Bedford Town.

Not sure that's going to go down too well around here. Money talks...

Hopefully keep it as Bedford Town, not some ghastly name like Real Bedford Town

Chucking money at it now they are close to the playoffs.

Did similar a couple of years ago when they signed Luis Rose from Nomads.

Can't see how this ends well for them. There's no way they can afford this on 300-400 home supporters, and promotion just increases a wage bill. They lost £85K last financial and have been running a loss since 2020. Is Rudkin doing a bit of moonlighting?

Where have you got those figures from? And why is there nothing to explain what is what on the graph?

I’m no accountant but a quick google search shows accounts from 2023 which says a gross profit of £148000, up from 146000 the previous year.

You don't half spout some shite mate.

Basically ten years ago harborough were playing in a field with ten supporters. To even compete with Kettering back then was a mirical.

This in turn has made your fanbase jealous with rage.

All you talk is attendance this attendance that.

Reality is we are coming for you and your bricking it .

P.s Nile ranger is past it.

Harborough don’t just rely on match day crowds to bring in revenue. Who does ?
The modern clubhouse has a huge function room, it is regularly hired out for wedding receptions, parties etc. They have about 80 teams from juniors to veterans.
A local college - Brooke House, pay a large amount to enable their football academy to use the facility.

The board members & advisers, in general are people with good business acumen…..not a group of fly-by-night chancers.

I’ve posted before, Harborough Town are a very well run organisation. The wheels may come off, but not anytime soon.

That’s the company built to look after the facility etc. Daggers have pulled out the company which links to the football club operation.

I doubt that’s the case given they are very likely in Step 2 next season

I've watched Dolman a few times now. He is so overweight, likes to hoof it & gives the ball away unless he plays a simple sideways pass.

I get he has experience at a higher level & is probably a good talker & gets Harborough organised, but his best days are well behind him.

Aye don’t doubt that. But he was being well paid by Tamworth and he had lots of interest in him. Harborough are free to spend their money how they want (couple of others in the county as bad) but I’d rather stop our budget is small kitsch.

Let's see.

I know they have 10483727 fans at home , probably helps.

Also good away support , 19383839382 on average .

I know that mate. Club itself broke even, mainly because of bar revenue, but from my understanding is that it’s a wholly owned subsid of the Trust (one share) with a number being on the board of both…and the Trust is running at a continual loss (as shown in the graph*). Bar the income this season from the cup, I don’t see how there’s any financial growth of substance to cover the increase in wages.

Where? He’s not pulled anything out other than a graph with no referencing.

Where are the accounts which show a loss each year and a loss of 85k last season? That’s what he’s said, I’d like to read them.
