As a goldien oldie I must confess that the entertainment given in past decades was much more appreciated even when not winning You live on planet earth? He left for 50k a week more and the chance to manage a top 6 club He left because we the unable to spend funds He left because he knew his time was now fo cash in He didn't leave because I groaned at the mess we witnessed in a big number if games Come on 🤣 6

Molson Canadian Posted 28 May 2024 Posted 28 May 2024 https://the72.co.uk/2024/05/28/leicester-city-enzo-maresca-replacements-chelsea/ I agree with this: First on the list of bosses to consider is Niko Kovac, who has been out of work since March. He left VfL Wolfsburg following a tricky 2023/24 campaign but his previous work should not be ignored as Leicester City hunt for a new boss. Kovac won the domestic treble with Bayern Munich in the 2018/19 season, his first after earning a step up from Eintracht Frankfurt. The 52-year-old also found success in France with Monaco. Now, a shot in England with someone like Leicester after his Wolfsburg stint could prove tempting.

Popular Post davieG Posted 28 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 28 May 2024 Leicester have been in discussions with Leeds manager Daniel Farke about a possible move to the Premier League club. Farke is open to the opportunity and would want to bring Summerville and Gnonto with him. 1 1 22

Pliskin Posted 28 May 2024 Posted 28 May 2024 Kovac is a great shout, his system would suit this squad much better than Enzo’s system. 1

I'm not the sort to see survival as an achievement, but we are right up against it this season. We have this far harder than Everton or Forest did. We don't have three teams as bad as last years promoted trio likely to prop us up. The more I think about it the more I fancy Corberan. He isn't alien to working in tricky circumstances.

And how nobody knows how many points we might be deducted. Obviously all self inflicted though. Baffling the decline we’ve seen over the last 2.5 years. You are correct, but even despite this we are not a strong proposition. I'd say even if we heard news tomorrow of the points deductions being dropped it's the weakest we've entered a PL season probably since 2003.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 May 2024 Posted 28 May 2024 (edited) This is a huge throw out... Austin MacPhee mainly worked behind the scenes at clubs but most credit him for his great set peice coaching. Maybe a tad gamble but certainly not impossible. Part of same coaching team that got northern ireland to euro 2016. Scotland to the recent euros and villas first champions league qualification in over 30 years. Maybe hes just a positive jinx 😁 Edited 28 May 2024 by Leicesterpool 4
Dan Posted 28 May 2024 Posted 28 May 2024 Maresca going to Chelsea is a pretty convenient get out for the board. Doesn't make them look bad as he'd have likely gone anyway, and the one person putting any pressure on them gone. 1
Jobyfox Posted 28 May 2024 Posted 28 May 2024 I don’t want Potter simply because I can’t say his name without putting some sort of strange emphasis on it as if I were Severus Snape or Draco Malfoy. I think, however, this problem is probably unique to myself and I should perhaps seek professional support 2
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 12 Posted 28 May 2024 Posted 28 May 2024 People now suggesting kovac.😂. im sticking with xavi. I tell ya.
