I saw an interesting interview… a certain type of handgun sells in America for $600. But it sells on the black market in Canada ( smuggled in) for $6,000. Most of them come through a specific Native American reservation that has part of  it over the Canadian Border and part of it over the American border  but U.S customs are not allowed to ‘police’ what comes in and out of the reservation.. so smuggling is a major source of income for that reservation..

A lot of the guns used over here are coming from south of the border.  It is out of control and getting worse with the gangs in Vancouver as well as the greater Toronto area.

 

Doesn't help thay we are soft on crime which only leads to repeat offenders that know it's more lucrative to get caught then lead a good life.

The puzzling thing is the percentage of Presidents either assassinated or had an attempt on them must be way above any other 1st world democracy, yet no President would dream of tightening gun laws.
