Hi All, 

 

I for one love all kinds of memorabilia from sports (mainly football of course) , films, TV and family history...

 

I know its not everybody's cup of tea but I just wondered what your guys favourite and prized memorabilia was? 

 

I've only been collecting for a 7-8 years now but my personal favs would be - 

 

Football

15/16 LCFC Kante shirt (Would love one day for it to be signed) 

16/17 Champions League white shirt signed by the squad.

 

Snooker 

Selby signed photo

Ronnie signed photo

I've got a rambling, incoherent, doodle strewn, peak coke and booze, 5-page Mark E Smith letter. I'd lost it, i was bereft, but i found it again recently. It will forever be the best piece of memorabilia ever to me.

I have the pennant given to Leicester City by Atletico Madrid for the 1961 -62 European cup winners cup home tie. Bought from Saddington car boot for £5 about 20 years ago.

Bit tatty with age but still my favourite & only significant piece of memorabilia.

The club might want to borrow that for their museum

 

Oh wait. 

 

Perhaps best not to lend it to them as the lost a lot of stuff lent for the original museum that failed to appear, so I've heard.

I’ve got all sorts of City stuff including about 70 match worn shirts.

 

Favourites- 3/4 Vardy/Schmeichel shirts, 1979 Umbro match worn shirt as well as a few Admiral ones from the 80s.

I have a signed Davie Gibson biography.

Have a few Breweriana bits, Everard's Tiger mirror, water jugs, beer mats etc. Will probably pick up more over time. I keep an eye out for Gents clocks too, I have a very functional school clock which I still haven't put any batteries in. The dream is is to own something like this

I have the 15/16 shirt signed by the entire team, which I had professionally mounted and framed with a bronze caption. 

 

I also have the programme from the final Everton game which I very nervously produced and asked Vards to sign when I encountered him through work.
