It’s no big money maker for the group thats for sure.

In terms of the charity as per the advert for every scarf sold another goes to one of two homeless charities in Leicester who are benefiting from this drive.

UFS don't have admin costs per se as everything is done on a voluntary basis. So the £15 price covers the production and delivery of the two scarves, plus the import fees and taxes we now pay post Brexit. Delivery cost to get the scarf to the buyer is on top because the prices via Royal Mail have shot up and there's no margin to absorb that cost anymore.

 

Nothing is added to that price for the time to design the item itself, do the legwork to speak to the supplier, package and post them out, or to physically deliver the final article to the charities. If there's any "profit" at the end of that (I don't know if there is because I'm not involved in merch, and I would suspect it would literally be pennies per order), that would go to the tifo fund.

I swear every time UFS start a modest fundraiser someone has to be a hard on and demand a full accounting report from the most transparent group around the club, like they don’t always tell the public where every penny goes.

I'd be happier at UFS trousering the scarf cash than LCFC trousering the £250,000 card scam cash.

 

At least the scarf cash might end up as part of a TIFO rather than swallowed up in another year of financial buffoonery.

Mine arrived a few days ago, the lad will love the scarf. 
I’m having a few of his stickers to take to Berlin tomorrow, have to find a decent place to put them for maximum exposure 👍
