I know it's the Dutch league ans I know PSV are naturally gonna be at the top end because they're one of the biggest clubs in the Netherlands but RVN did do well there and he quit because he fell out with the club. He finished second and won the domestic cup against Ajax.

My issue with RVN is that he was striker. Strikers are not typically good managers (Sir Alex/Clough the exceptions).

I suspect that WestHam have got into Potters ear telling him to hold fire for a game or two and the job will be his ...better prospect than us from his point of view.  I'd take Ruud just to give the whole place buzz, yes he'll be gone within 18 months if he works some magic here but I'll take that if leaves us in a good place .

I do not understand why in the position we are RVN would be approached and he would accept. Steve McLaren won the Dutch league, it’s hardly a barometer to go by. His interim at united was ok but remember two games were against us.

Owynn Palmer Atkin was pretty unequivocal that the club has told him that neither Potter nor Moyes are under consideration. It would not be in his interests to say that if it was not true.
