Well he didn't do it again, he's not had a pre season so he is hardly going to know all the players strengths and weaknesses

Christ you don't need a single full training session to learn that vestergaard is the slowest footballer on earth let alone a full pre season!!! And watching 45 minutes of Ward should have at the least had him enquiring as to whether he was a professional goalkeeper and ditching him before the next game.

Give it up. You can't defend RvN he's been as bad as it gets.

I would assume he'll walk at the end of the season, an ex-player with his reputation can survive half a bad season in the Prem with a relatively poor side and still get a job that's way above what his talents and accomplishments warrant. Failing with us next year would be a killer.

Especially when he can say that he wasn’t backed in the transfer window, amongst other goings on at the club.

He never played since so he did change it.

Same with Ward never played again.

Dropped Winks never played again due to bad attitude.

Repalced Kristensen with Thomas its worked.

So while people say he hasn't got a clue he is making the right calls in regards to some.

Well it took him long enough didn't it. He stuck with the same team and tactics for weeks and weeks. Goodbye Ruud and thanks for the nightmares!!!

Not really.

If he goes I don't care tbh... but you can't really judge him after the shit show with Cooper and again NO PRE SEASON.

He won the cup with PSV they beat Ajax 4 x and finished second, so can't be that bad.

If we are swapping RVN for Martin

I agree no point 😕  its like swapping death by firing squad for hanging,  it will have excatly the same result

Well he did not stay there. He did however get Manchester United winning although two of the games were against us!!! Honestly you are entitled to your opinion but in mine he has been an absolute disaster.

So who comes in to this club in the mess it’s in and does a better job with all the shit that needs sifting, I think it’s going to be tough to find anyone decent that isn’t washed up Martin, Dyche etc

The state of the club and some here think we are getting a top class manager in, laughable. Maybe we get what the ownership deserves.

I don't think we're getting a top class manager in but a mildly competent one at present would be a huge upgrade.

Christ, I'm no fan of Ruud but what is the point of getting Russell Martin. You know the fans will hate him because we're bored to death of getting the dregs of Southampton, a team, who no matter how low we've sank in the last 4 years, have never been above us and he's a complete arse who has been pumped by Leicester multiple times, he's Pardew reincarnated, Pardtwo.

I'd rather keep Ruud, honestly. At least he seems like he wouldn't have a problem whipping some of our players into shape.

Ruud is to blame for losing so many games, and us going a stupid amount of games without us scoring. It’s his selections and tactics

Ruud is to blame for selecting, Ward, Faes, Justin, Kristiansen, Vestergaard.

Ruud is to blame for criminally under using Bouananotte

Ruud is to blame for not giving Monga more minutes

Ruud is at fault for not selecting Okoli more

Ruud is at fault for not being pragmatic enough to change his formation/ system to match opponents

When half way through one of our winless/goalless streaks, why wasn’t he changing things up? He just kept going with Vardy up top, isolated.

Ruud was always going to be a gamble. Why gamble?

I can say he doesn’t have those accomplishments because he’s doesn’t lol , you’re saying he’s better than managers that have actually achieved something in the game with no basis of fact behind it

Thomas has already peaked, hes a championship player at best

how is your argument logical, we don’t know but yes he’s better than these managers is the main crux of your argument lol

Well I’ve never actually said he’s better, I said maybe he deserves a chance given the options available are not exactly great. Martin has got up via the playoffs we have no idea if Rudd could, but he did alright in the Dutch league which is a better standard than the championship. My point there’s no point changing unless you are sure you are bringing in someone better which we can’t really be sure of. I can’t honestly say Martin is going to do a better job or Dyche with these players. Just seems a waste of money we don’t have with likely the same outcome.

Incorrect on monga GCSE and school meant he couldn’t really. The young players have been handled well, the lads 15.

Surely any new manager is also a gamble unless you have a proven winner who wants to come here under these circumstances. The advantage of Rudd as well is financial is we are not having another new regime changing every again, he knows the squad, probably who needs to go etc, a new man has gotta come in and figure that out. Say Martin comes in, has to assess the squad decide who shit, who’s not, takes another 6 months of figuring in out, bottom half of the championship, do we sack him too? All sounds a bit Watfordy

I don't know the answer. I would not go for Dyche. I think his brand of football would be a hard watch. Russell Martin has not been up to it. The club needs to stabilise. If we are getting points deducting let's just get it out of the way. Try and keep as much of the good we have and let go the rest. I want someone who will come to a project and that won't mean a quick fix. I liked the Luton manager and I like Mark Robins. Does not have to be them but of that ilk. The club needs to weed out those that have got us in the mess we are in and if not I don't think it matters who we appoint as manager.

And having to use most of Coopers coaching staff, and only able to bring one of his own guys in. He was set up to fail

Mate, thank god. Honestly he’s a fraud. Tactically useless. So out his depth.

So who’s coming to this club with a 12 point deduction, embargo who is top class, genuinely interested?

Robins failed and civ and only just kept Stoke up after his assistant went. For Luton Edwards or the new guy?

Im not sure Dyche would work here given the club have spent so long chasing tippy tappy. Admittedly out of all the options he seems better.
