Surely this has to be Ruud sacrificing the game to make a point that he needs more signings.  No way he thinks, JJ. Ward, Ayew, Hamza, Coady, Reid and a 38 year old Vardy is a starting line up.

Subbing Bilal but keeping Ayew on made no sense. Soumare suddenly stopped being able to pass doesn’t help.

Yeah right, start from the certainty that "RvN is a great manager" and build up the outlandish theories and improbable excuses around that!

Occums razor - the simplest answer is usually correct.

Ergo the celebrity manager is clueless and out of his depth hugely!

I hate to say this, but could vardy be the problem? Maybe it's time for real change?  That was gutless, the manager should be in charge, not a player.

who ****ing cares?

we aren't good enough for top 4/6. def good enough to be better than 3 other clubs, two of which are Ipswich and Southampton.  this talking point is absolutely stupid. I mean - we literally are, right now, even AFTER this game - better than 3 other clubs in the division.

RvN was always a bad appointment. We needed a manager, not a name.

lol at the people saying we must have a deal with Brighton for Facundo not to be playing.  Cope harder.  Just our manager's selection choices.  How does that make you feel?

With all due respect, I think you're a bit delusional about the state of this squad. Maybe a better squad than Southampton but nobody else in the league. As for our current position, how many of those points we've won were deserved? Our position has been a false one for a while and it was always going to catch up with us. I wasn't a fan of RvN's appointment either but I'm not sure there's a manager we could realistically get who would save us

How bout we start with playing our best player, and not playing our worst, and see how things shake out?

At times like these l think its important to be empathetic and to sympathise with the feelings of others...

So I'm wondering how West hams players and fans are feeling now.. 😐

I agree, it's strange he hasn't taken to Buonanotte. Don't know if there's a reason behind that or not. But you've kind of proved my point by saying that the best player in our squad is a kid who at the minute isn't thought to be good enough to play for Brighton

ive just seen the goals again,

HOW IS WARD A KEEPER?!?!?

and why is JJ even in the team, hes not had a performance over 6/10 this season

Ward is not at all good but the problems run much deeper than Ward and JJ.

true but today, Mads in goal least 2 of them goals dont happen

plus having a keeper you dont trust doesnt give much confidence to the rest of the team

From 21/22 Daka Soumare Vesty Souttar Skipp  £100million well spent ?

I think we can all agree that if ANY of them prior to Skipp were worth their fees and wages they would have left on relegation.

Well yes, in that we don't have better players than them to select when Mads is injured.

I genuinely think an already ropey defence is made far more ropey when he's there.

They get away with playing a more risky defensive approach because Mads is brilliant.  Its the modern way, but Ward is simply not good enough to work it. Even his passing out looks shaky.

Your talking garbage

RVN  is clueless and no where near Prem manager standard.

He’s got no experience and only got the job due to the halfwits running this club.

We’re getting relegated and doubt we’ll win another game this season.

Im glad people are angry about today. Gives me some comfort that I’ve reached the 5th stage of grief.

we’ve been rotting for years, this is the end result. We’re in such a mess I don’t know how we get out.

financial tight rope, nothing coming through the academy that’s getting any real air time, poor signing after poor signing on 3 year contracts (history repeating) that are flopping from the off.

I thought Enzo chased the dream when he went in the summer, happy to eat humble pie and say he just saw what was coming.

we’re still pinning our hopes on a 38 year old striker, not having a pop at Vardy as he’s still producing but massive failing of the club not to have an heir pushing him and a prospect in the wings.

Summary:

apparently no money

poor squad

no academy prospects paying off the Seagrave investment

grief stage = acceptance
