King Power Out

Utterly bewildering how quiet this thread is. Nothing changes until these are gone. I actively want us to go into administration as it's the only realistic way forwards. It's worth risking liquidation for. I already feel I haven't got a club with how King Power are running it.

Honestly think everyone's just exasperated, bewildered and resigned.

We've had practically nothing to cheer for since the pandemic, except for an FA Cup win we were all still stuck indoors for and a promotion that shouldn't ever have had to happen.

Apart from an FA Cup win we couldn't celebrate normally and a promotion that should never had been necessary, every single season since the pandemic has been:

Miss out on Champions League on the last day

Miss out on Champions League on the last day

Mid table and Rome

Relegation

Promotion

Relegation

Relegation

We've been subjected to some of the worst football I've ever seen, an exodus of a generational squad's worth of talent for free in favour of paying a premium for the shittest signings in our history, all while going through a series of decreasingly unpopular managers and coaching teams with either zero experience or lots of experience but it's shit experience, and sponsorship deals that make us look just as morally bankrupt as we are financially.

At the same time the sport itself has never been worse. Two of this country's 'biggest' clubs have been revealed to have been cheating for a decade and a half each - as if none of us already ****ing knew - and which had a direct affect on our own fortunes; a Premier League more interested in aggression and law fare towards us than holding either of them clubs accountable in a timely and appropriate manner, and a corrupt global body trying to sell the game in plain sight.

All this we're expected to bankrupt ourselves during and endless cost of living crisis just to gain just a tiny bit of access to the club and sport we love. £70 for a replica shirt for a ****ing League One club.

We are in serious existential trouble.

Has anyone been in employment and seen the horrendous failure of someone like Rudkin not result in dismissal?

Top is basically a man child with the football knowledge of Gemma Collins and he just keeps him because he relies on him to say things like 442. We’re stuck with this absolute shit show.

Blacks PLC lost half a million quid moving from Granby St to High St by accidentally selling the entire brand new premium stock of the new store at clearance prices at the old one. Both people responsible kept their jobs despite it being their literal first act in those jobs.

Worst thing about today was I passed up the opportunity to pay £600 for 2 adults and kid tickets to sit on the padded seats.

Never again will I get an opportunity to be as stupid

Oh my god that sucks so bad. I’d ****ing hate that. That’s awful.

I feel so low with it.

Same. Still all feels quite surreal.

Have never felt so detached from the club, but also thinking about it so much.

I actually can't think of a single thing I currently even like about a club I've loved for as long as I can remember.

Players, management, board, the fan atmosphere, the training ground, the sponsors, the seats in our stadium, the women's team, the youth team... it's all just crap and unlikeable.

It will get better, eventually.

My dad couldn't even tell me why he still goes tonight.

The things he's seen since the 60s and he's just there on his own out of a fear of ending something he's known his whole life. He doesn't even relate what he's seeing now to what he's seen in the past, he said it's like his old club died and he just woke up at this place as a result

What have these willy pullers done to this club.

This. Its as bad as its ever been, we are currently seeing the worst Leicester City will ever be (and its probably going to get worse) and its been declining in a blindingly obvious fashion for years and absolutely nothing is being done nor will anything be done until the club is sold.

It is genuinely wasted, money, effort, time, mental energy for anyone to stick with this imo, I just dont know what anyone gets out of it, there is no hope, like absolutely zero, this isnt a blip this is multi year failing by some of the most incompetent people I have ever witnessed who have no idea what to do but will never, ever, think they are at fault.

It is not going to get better, so why bother! They have shown you all time and time and time again what they are and every time we keep going back for more. Its just mad to me. I hope I get my leicester back but this isnt anything worth trying to support, they dont deserve us.

The club I’ve known all my life is gone. The owners are too thick to realise that possession based football only works with elite players. They’re also too thick to know that possession based football has more or less gone because it’s pants. Russel Martin is also too thick to realise that he’s crap and his tactical philosophy is absolute nonsense.

until these two anchors weighing down our club are cut loose we will continue to sink. And we can sink further. These are quite literally the worst times for our great club ever.

I'll have the £600 if you're still interested in parting with it

Can you offer an equally awful experience?

If you're willing to spend £50 of it on a curry and pack of Guinness and are confident you can then fart in my mouth for 90 mins solid, plus perhaps push me down the stairs on the way out do drop me a DM!

*Original post was refering to the linkedin advert i saw a week ago flogging u12 fosse club tickets for a bargainous £125

Farting in my mouth after a curry and Guinness is basically a black tie event with Peter Shilton isn’t it?

I bet still no stadium protests, fan base is so passive.  Owners really need to be made to feel uncomfortable, there was that one game where some lads forced a social media video (which was claimed to be unrelated), and then we have gone soft after again.
