A return to the tour for Iulian Boiko, well deserved after a few agonising near misses in recent seasons.

For the players under 20 it's not the worst thing in the world to get on tour, fall out and get back on again stronger than ever.

Agreed, especially as there’s numerous avenues for the youngsters to get on tour.

For Boiko especially, he has been involved in main tour events as a top-up this season, beat Si Jiahui earlier in the season. He has also been playing the Q Tour against some other ex professionals.

It can be cut throat for these youngsters, but there’s some decent talent coming through, especially from Eastern Europe.

Great watch that was

Fair play to Kyren, I honestly thought he’d be one of those nearly players, hovering around the top 10, seemingly always doubting himself. But he now struts around the table like the World champ he is.

Good to see Robertson playing some good stuff this season, but my god he always looks like he’s just finished a 16 hour night shift when he plays these later matches 😂

Is it acceptable to say that Kyren Wilson has become good to watch

Speeding up his game has done wonders for him.

That break of 134 in the decider was one of the best breaks I’ve seen this season.

I find robertson hard to watch, he must walk some miles the amount of times he walks around the table, and does endless practice shots, he was so much better to watch a few years a go.

I happened to switch back and robertson walked around for a minute, took the rest out for a practice shot, then played a straight black, I switched back over.

Remarkable achievement from Michal Szubarczyk, he won the EBSA U16 and U18 events, now has just earned himself a tour card by reaching the final of the Mens event.

Now 7-5 ahead in the final .

Draw released for World Championship Qualifiers, few spots still to be filled depending on Wu Yize’s progression in the Tour Championship.

Louis Heathcote and Joe O’Connor pitted in the same section together alongside Jackson Page, evil section that.

Kaylan Patel from Leicester earned a spot in qualifying by finishing runner-up at the WSF Junior Championship, he takes on Chinese talent Gong Chenzhi in R1.

20-3 v Robertson and Ding is absolutely insane. Have not been watching, is his whole game good?

It would be very hard to see anyone beating him in Sheffield but snooker’s a funny game.

Scoring very well and mostly getting it done in one visit which for me is where he’s improved massively of late.

Only Judd is ahead of him this season on the list of centuries made and of course when things aren’t going well we know he can grind it out better than anybody.

Higgins is also having a fantastic season, but so is Neil Robertson and look what Selby has just dished out to him.

On current form Selby looks unstoppable but snooker form can ebb and flow so quickly.

One interesting stat I heard yesterday is no winner of the tour championship has gone on to win the world championship in the same year. Wonder if this is the year it changes?
