Even this crop of idiots have proved you don’t have to be that competent to take a club to the top 10.

Then through ignorance, hubris, cowardice, complacency, stupidity didn’t remove the people drastically underperforming.

Rudkin and Whelan don’t talk to each other, Top is just fine with this because he’s just so out of his depth.

Didn’t hear any counter chants in support of KPFC though so a ‘wet rag’ of a chant was more than most people stumped up yesterday protesting or not

Yep. Didn't hear "One Jon Rudkin" or anything supporting the board in response. They just want to sit, shake their heads, tut and do nothing.

Easy to go on Facebook and criticise others. They won't throw you out for chanting in favour of the club.

But again, nothing.

It’s worth pointing out that KP aren’t exactly clean are they? There will be a closet full of skeletons, so all of this “would you rather have a (essentially corrupt is what people are getting at) owners”……. You don’t get to that level of wealth without shaking hands with the devil.

Indeed, though Vichai made sure we only saw his good side whenever he came to Leicester.

Skeletons or not, though, KP have kept season ticket prices (though not match day ones) relatively cheap compared to other Premier League clubs.

This may help to explain why protests to date have been relatively limited and not reached the scale witnessed elsewhere (at Spurs, for example).

This whole thing is full of contradictions. There seems to be this idea that protesters are the ‘proper fans’ whereas non protesters are plastic/new fans. But the reality is that the Rudkin Out boys are the ones who can’t handle the fact we’re not still challenging for the top 6.

There are many of us who have been supporting the club for years who recognise that - though this is a tough season - the club is in a relatively healthy state.

This targeting of Rudkin in particular is ridiculous, given that not one of you know who is responsible for what at the club.

It doesn’t make you a King Power cultist to think that these protests are unnecessary.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but to try and imply this is about proper / not proper fans is arrogant, stupid and wrong.

I know I’m going to get absolute pelters on here, but evidence suggests that more people share my viewpoint - i.e. that wet rag of a chant yesterday.

If the protests aren’t necessary, what exactly should the fans be doing to show their displeasure?

To use a business analogy - given Football Clubs like to think of themselves as capable businesses when they’re justifying £57 tickets or £25 to retain a bit of plastic - what set of shareholders (ie the fans) would accept such a fall off in performance with zero communication and accountability?

I doubt they would be sitting there thinking ‘oh well, great that they improved the share price to £300 10 years ago. Can’t complain that it’s now £30. Trust the process, the Directors are great guys’ whilst senior management refused to answer any questions but just put out meaningless statements about internal reviews.

For what it’s worth I thought some of the visuals on the van were pretty pathetic (others were spot on) and needlessly personal - it’s OK to think Rudkin is not fit for the role and should be sacked/resign but calling him a cvnt etc undermines the cause imo.

I do agree with you there.

I think what’s compounded the situation, is we’ve seen a sea of shocking decisions all come at once and high like a Tsunami, and so everything just feels much worse.

Probably someone more like Tony Bloom, Matthew Benham, American owners at Villa and Bournemouth who seem to make sound business decisions. This is the same logic that sees failing managers backed for too long - “because who else would you get?”

So by Foxestalk/ Rudkin Out logic, if Brighton have a bad season and get relegated, Tony Bloom and his team should clear off and let somebody else take over at Brighton.

I’ve enquired about a plane with a banner for the next daylight home game.

Great idea, although that isn't till the 5th April. Need to keep the message going for the next two games before then 🤔

Have Brighton had nearly £600m pass through the clubs books, and still breach PSR?????

Sorry but Rudkin is the Director of football. So responsible for the football.

Most fans aren’t bother by the fact we aren’t top 6, more the fact we have no fallen light years behind the likes of Forest, Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford, Fulham etc.

The club has a haphazard attitude to transfers signing Souttar, Coady, Skipp, Cannon with no clear vision for them in the squad, signing older players like Ayew and BCR with no real clue how we are going to use them, not filling clearly poor areas of the pitch with new players ‘defence’, wasting 250million on players who left for free! High wages for average players, long contracts for average players.

We have no strategy on manager appointments we’ve gone from Smith to Enzon to Cooper to RVN just seems random, no seeming identity on or off the field.

im not sure how anyone can look at that and say yeah mate I’m happy with where we are heading. Rudkin has failed us and is being allowed to continue. The fans that strangely back him are complicit to our disintegration.

Totally agree, the transfer policy is shocking, wasting a huge proportion of the budget on a back-up reserve midfielder is bizarre.

I don't get why we bought Cannon in the first place, but it's even more puzzling that we've sold him when he could do a job for us in the championship next season.

We don't seem to have any forward planning at all.

You’re killing your credibility by accusing people of corrupt business practices when in reality you have no clue about whether or not that’s true.

The clubs been poorly ran in recent years when it comes to player recruitment which is a major issue but all the “club is rotten to the core” hyperbole is where you lose me.

What’s interesting.

Pro-KP lot, ‘you’re all entitled for being frustrated and wanting better. We are little Leicester etc etc. Careful what you wish for and what do you want’?

The answer to that. To make sensible decisions, have accountability, build an exciting squad of players who want to be here, not be constantly pursued by the authorities for financial breaches, communication from the club, fans not to be treated with contempt. And much more. But nobody who is frustrated and demanding change ever have the motive that it’s because we aren’t in the top 6. That is a narrative pushed by the KPFC lot.

When you point to clubs like Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth doing things right and sensibly and doing well. The reply is ‘well they lost 7-0 to Forest’ or ‘what have they won’.

So really, it’s the KPFC lot who think it is all about winning, ironic given the direction we are heading. Whereas the ones pushing for change are likely to be those who will be there in League 1 or 2 if it came to it, if the club was one that they could have faith in and relate to.

MOTD coverage and commentary picked up on the Rudkin banner, the chants and actually referenced Project Reset.

And panned to a glum-looking Rudkin for a good few seconds.

Spot on. It was crass behaviour from the van owner. This felt like the "protest" is more of a personal vendetta than a cause. Disgraceful
