I just dont believe we can be that close to psr limits that we couldn't have spent £20m in January, and as far sacking RVN, what money is he on anyway? Why don't we have a clause of some.sort allowing us to get rid. We never do these things with a 'what if....' in mind

We struggled to spend 1.3m in January. It reportedly cost £10m to get rid of Cooper and co, you'd imagine similar money, even half of that to get rid again and then bring new staff in. Break clauses work both ways, if you put one in place that benefits the club the agent will want a similar one allowing him to talk to other clubs. And then fans moan.

We're broke and anyone worth a punt on isn't coming here to ruin their reputation in a March relegation scrap with no chance of fresh faces.

No chance.

Shrewsbury Town in pre season was the start of it.  Completely out of his depth.  We were gone the moment he arrived.

The people who called for Cooper’s head really can’t get over it can they? Do you honestly believe he would have done worse than eleven defeats out of the last twelve games and with a goalscoring record this dreadful? Under Cooper we scored in every single home game.

Yes - we may have gone down under Cooper anyway, but he had a Championship level squad regularly scoring goals and collecting points so we wouldn’t have to suffer such apathy and resignation that we’re experiencing now.

If RvN was manager from the start of the season we would be in serious trouble of breaking Derby’s eleven point record low.

I thought psr was proven to be invalid... surely clubs can ignore it

It can only be due to finances

He's also clearly not the man of honour he purports himself to be as anyone with any self awareness, respect and pride would have walked weeks ago.

Nigh on impossible but he's a bigger fraud than Cooper.

50 years and along with Taylor  & McClintock these are the 2 worse managers I can remember - honourable mentions to Hamilton and Sousa.

I'm not sure it's fair to say he's a fraud just yet. He's only had 4 years of managerial experience and literally less than a year in English football. I think what is fair to say that this appointment was done on the basis of his name rather than his managerial pedigree. Most managers have experience in the lower leagues before coming up for a number of years, because of who is, he's bypassed that and unfortunately this shows. This calamity is solely down to the board, can't blame Ruud for taking the job.

The reason we aren’t getting rid is purely because the owners know we are down, the fans know we are down, everyone knows we are going down.

At this point, why bother sacking him and shelling out millions to pay him off and get someone else in who won’t change the outcome of this season? There is literally no point.

my guess is the owners are waiting for the season to finish, hoping to find some mutual consent middle ground and Ruud leaves and it doesn’t leave a hole in the pocket and we start again in the Championship.

you’d hope those “few million” saved would go towards playing staff, but it will probably  just go towards Tops summer holiday jollies but what can you do.

A fraud to be something else than that you appear or purport to be.

He has banged on about being honourable, would walk away etc and has clearly taken a job well in advance of his capability.

I'd call him a total and utter fraud. A man without scruples - I thought impossible but more dislikeable than Cooper

GET HIM GONE
