LCFC Men Season Tickets: Price Freeze & Safe Standing Confirmed

Forced digital tickets. And an arbitrary transfer of 5 games a season to family members. Spent years sharing season ticket with a family member as I now live out the county and can’t make midweek games, spent tens of thousands on STs over 30+ years and they have a problem with my mum using my ticket. I ****ing hate this club. If it wasn’t for my son getting into it this would be it for me. Good news is they’ll have an empty seat going forward when I can’t go

No definition of what is a disability leaves the club wide open to accusations of discrimination. It doesn’t say you have to currently be registered as disabled - only that you can apply for an exemption.

I think it’s accurate to say that the great majority of STH do not want digital ticketing. This was made clear last year. So after a listening exercise our board have decided to roll them with the slippery language of ‘because Premier League standards’. Sums our club up. 
If we ever drop down to League One again and gate receipts fall perhaps then they’ll be forced to listen to the fans. 
I might be done with my ST over this. I can adapt to digital but I really resent being forced into it. I don’t want it.

I know I’m a bit of a saddo but I know I’m not alone. Making away tickets all digital takes away a big part of the experience. I’ve got hundreds of tickets from different away games over the years, something you can look back at and remember the special (and not so special) ones. Just another firm reminder that those at the top really don’t understand many of the things that people enjoy(ed) about football.

Exactly the same for me. Fans have been self regulating where their cards go if they can’t make a game for generations. This corporate move is another nail in the coffin of the community aspect of being a football supporter.

Pretty poor that there is not an option for a physical card especislly after the amount of supporters that wanted a card this season. Are the foxes trust going to raise this?

Especially rough after the club admitted last night at a meeting they they handled the £25 stuff badly (to say the least)

You absolutely arent alone.  We save tickets and badges from away grounds, programmes etc as keepsakes if that's the right word.  I have a ticket from a 1992 league cup game against arsenal in there somewhere   i imagine there are lots of "saddos" like us

I only renewed by accident and don’t want to ever again.  Only been to 4 games, and that 4 too many!

If there's a form to fill in then that's easy enough

Supporting the City for over 50 years has seen some truly shit moments.  Pissed on, snowed on, bricked, beaten up by rival fans, ripped off prices, treating like dirt by the police, etc etc etc.    But the worst thing is being lied to by the Club.  

 

"we've listened to your feedback, blah blah blah".    Like f u c k.          15,000 Season tickets holders said they actually wanted the option of having a card.
