Apparently, they haven't scored a goal in their pre season games. Nuno is trying to change the way they play as they got found out at the end of last season.

Their Pre-Season has been dreadful hasn't it.

 

Don't read too much into pre season alone, but when you look how they ended last season, if that has carried through to Pre-Season then its much more worrying.

Hoping they've had their one season of fortune & will be holding hands with Leeds in the relegation pits.

For the money spent he would have been a sound purchase, he was £5mill wasn't he?  For some reason he plays far more centrally at Boro than he did at Plymouth.  Half his games for Middlesborough he's been down the middle rather than on the right.  Maybe he'll fare better under Edwards, though he's still playing him through the middle.
