I wonder what on earth goes through our prospective new managers minds during the interviews and negotiations when it becomes abundantly clear that their objectives and targets rely on their boss to sell players that he's never been able to do at the required level.

I wonder if any have ever flagged this during discussions..... 😂

The ones who don't get the job I'd imagine.

Every club making moves apart from us….

If you sit still you go backwards. Hopefully we get our equivalent of new signings with the introduction of the youth players, particularly Nelson and Alves who were away.

Other than that I worry for us as we don’t have the divine right to promotion that some of our fans see to think we do and we could easily be behind the promotion pack.

Have you seen our oversized bloated squad.  We have 40 players.  Even Cifuentes alluded to the fact we have too many players.  When, will a lot of our fans realise until we can shift some of them ( we won't because of their bloated wages)  we will not be signing anyone.  Likes, of Derby, Brum, Wrexham, Norwich can sign who they like.  All, will still finish below us this season.  Even with our journeymen the championship is a gash league.  With a 12 point deduction we will still finish top 6, with the players we have now.

I think a fair few Leicester fans are over confident, I mean it's good too see optimistic fans and happy clappers sometimes cheer my miserable persona up , but ****

My perception is it’s a bit of both. Like most things in society it seems like the extreme end of both opinions.

Hard to tell until you kick off, always is. But we have some very exciting youngsters so that’s enough to build some optimism.

Getting promotion with monga, Alves, page and Nelson having unreal seasons is the stuff of dreams no?

I'm trying to stay in the middle neither one way or another , it's too easy to be disappointed but harder to be pleased

Brownhill has left Burnley, if im honest id have him here after seeing Skipp in pre season

After seeing skipp I would have my grandma in midfield so it's not really a yardstick

But for free, someone will take him on.  Whoever doesn't get their primary targets and settles.

Yes if it wasn't on a ridiculous contract would take him for the championship would automatically be our best centre mid , absolutely agree 👍

I think Brownhill would be an excellent addition. Quite ominous the point about wages though. Unless Burnley were being insulting with their offer, it would suggest he is looking for a pay day which we should be avoiding…
