Seems like quite a lot, is it usually that high a turnover ?

Usually around 96% renewal so a larger drop than usual. Not as big as I thought there would be, echo chamber stuff.

If those figures are right then it is an high turnover compared to last season, 98% renewal last season and 500 new season tickets made available

Following a 98 per cent renewal rate among 2023/24 Season Ticket Holders, this summer saw 5,337 Fox Members apply for any Season Tickets that would become available after the renewal period closed. Based on the volume of applications and number of available Season Tickets, the qualification threshold was set at a minimum of 55 Home Priority Points, with 500 applicant Fox Members given the opportunity to become Season Ticket Holders for 2024/25.

So is it 500 or 2300? I’m assuming it’s the 500 figure that’s the correct one?

Interesting and is a bit of a snub to the merchants of doom. Plus these numbers are only general areas as no hospitality areas have yet gone on sale and accounts for another 3000 places. As such we will have one of the largest attendances in the Championship. Turnover was up but may be distorted due to people who did not renew as their areas became safe standing and some did not want to move. Given how poor we were this season and the supposed disaffection it is obviously not as high as some claim. Loyalty appears to have won over despair.

Footballs still going through an attendance boom in this country

It would take a major drop off to go back down to 23/24k for home games

Derby who just scraped safety have sold 20k + season tickets for example

Surely the whinging ones are alright, it’s the ones who sit there in silence that need to go.

My stats are this season coming, the others are last year.

As much as you hate how we’re run, you can understand people not wanting to give up their main hobby.

That’s why protesting by not going just isn’t realistic for the majority of fans

I can completely understand that but no other form of protest works. If people are buying season tickets and their generic kits emblazoned with their soulless sponsor, they don't cate what we chant or post online because they still bring in money.

Protesting is a bit daft if i'm being honest. Yeah give up your ST because you've had enough, but protesting and getting rid of it purely for that reason plays into the clubs hands.

They sell your seat for more to a new customer, club makes more profit. Also with the price of match tickets being as they are, if they fill your seat for around 10 of the home games next season, they've made your dropped revenue.

Enjoy the games, be vocal in your need for change, but don't lose heart. We'll be back.

Really?

The Championship is full of fading has-been teams (Stoke, Sheffield Wednesday, Derby among others) who thought they'd soon return to the limelight, only to be proved wrong.

What makes you so certain we'll dodge that fate?

If these figures quoted are anywhere near accurate (recent experience, especially with attendances, suggests they should be treated with caution), then the club hierarchy will viewsthem as a massive vote of confidence.

Seems the overwhelming majority of Foxes (at least those who go to games) are willing to fork out hundreds of pounds each year for whatever dross is served up in the name of football.

It's highly unlikely that the latest stint in the lower leagues will prove to be as brief as the previous one was.

The coming season ticket sales were always going to be near normal... due to fans who have been waiting for years to get one and those keeping theirs in anticipation of an instant return to the Premier league .... after next season reality will kick in if we are not promoted or the style of football is similar to the past seasons  .....
