Yes and more specifically a morally repugnant government involved in an extreme form of population control.

Surprising that there isn’t more of it on here then …….

Is China currently starving part of its population and indiscriminately shooting children? If so yes it should feature more.

Dunno

There isn’t  much reliable reporting from the Uighur region …..

It’s a shame that no one seems interested (away from a few very specific groups and some politicians) in the plight of the Uighurs.   never saw any campus protests or marches in the streets.   I suppose we have no leverage re China so what’s the point ….

There's a whole lexicon of complexity on that matter, some of which you describe here.

But yeah, it is a little odd that folks seem to only be able to focus on one humanitarian crisis at a time, and the one currently being focused on may not even be the biggest or most significant.

Depends who you mean by folks, but the one that has been beamed into our homes for the last 18 months or so, I would argue is significant enough.

It is absolutely significant, no doubting that at all.

And goodness knows people may well not have the spoons to know and deal with every crisis out there, as there are so many.

I think it's safe to say that some people are doing something to other people that a lot of people don't agree with, though there is some previous form giving some indication as to why this is happening and not everyone accepts that this should probably change so that the previous contretemps don't occur again.

Yeah?

That's up to him and the fuzz, and how anxious they are to talk to him, I would think.

He's been arrested now.  Tommy R, is such a silly boy.  I know alot of people hate him, but I think he has done some good things, and although I don't agree with everything he says, atleast you know where you stand with him.

Silly would be the right word, I think.

I certainly can't bring myself to hate the man, but the ideology he pursues is horrifically misguided and leads nowhere good.
